Reliable VDS providers in Chicago (in/near Aurora DC)?
Hi, looking to use this for trading purposes (i.e., Windows Server 2022 w/ remote desktop running both MT5 and Sierra Chart). I figure I need at least the following but welcome your suggestions:
8GB RAM (ECC preferred)
1 dedicated physical core (or 2 HW threads)
140GB NVME (ideally 1x NVME for OS plus 1x for above apps).
1 IPv4
100Mbps (port speed)
Optional - Ideally some backup/snapshot support if possible
Budget - ~$15USD/mo.
For context, currently running the following w/ @Clouvider in London, UK and it seems to be working well (not exactly like-for-like comparison though as not running Sierra Chart there (just Win2022 Server w/ multiple instances of MT4/MT5):

We're in CoreSite (which is where most Chicago DCs backhaul to anyways) and can meet those specs. You would need to install with your own ISO and license though.

We have 9950X in Chicago too, but that will be quite expensive.

Hey there, do you offer the same EPYC CPUs in Chicago? Any option for 2x NVMe instead of 1x?
The same CPU, but unfortunately can’t accommodate custom packages at the moment (or additional NVMe space on its own). This is something we hope to support in the future!
