Rise-GAME-LE probably best offer of the bad bunch they released

    sad.

I dont know man. 69.99 euro for a Ryzen 5 5600X feels like highway robbery.

    Did anyone win the lottery?

Only lottery you could get on the initial batch is 1Gbit IPv4 outgoing bandwidth. The hardware lotteries usually happen once stock runs out and there are still orders pending. In those cases, you either get a hardware lottery or cancellation.

    Anyone tried that Rise-GAME-LE yet

  • do i miss anything here or is the sysle1 worse than the normal sys1? i don't get it how this should be a good sale offer.

overall i have zero urge to try anything of these this time

  • Ordered new KS-LE-1 but no lottery.
    Only 1Gbit/s in Down IPv4

  • Anyone tried Rise-GAME-LE? YABS?

  • Just ordered a KS-LE-1 and it says I have 100Mb up & 1Gb down in the web interface. Said I should have 300Mbps up when ordering so kind of strange. This worth opening a ticket with them?

No, it will resolve itself, and the server will have 300. It’s just a visual glitch.

    Your disk is doubled!

KS-LE-1 seems to be more expensive this time?

Is it because last time they indicate 16gb ram, now is 32gb ram. The rest looks the same.

If it's fast means they have lots of stocks?

  • Seems a little bit more expensive than previous flash sale

  • These are so expensive compared to the previous sales imo, especially with the KS-LE-1 being DDR3 and an old old CPU

The thing is, those prices were "Black Friday" or flash sale, I doubt they would offer same price point at non sale times.

Yeah that's fair, interested to see if there are any lottery upgrades... but for now I'll stick with my LE-Es

  • Noticed some nice offer restocked at the us site, like:

    BFSTOR21-1
    Intel Xeon D-1521
    4 c/8 t - 2.4 GHz/2.7 GHz
6 x 8 TB HDD SATA Soft RAID
    16 GB DDR4 ECC 2133 MHz
    500 Mbps unmetered
    $62.40 - 12 months commitment

    BFSTOR21-2
    Intel Xeon D-1521
    4 c/8 t - 2.4 GHz/2.7 GHz
6x 12TB HDD SATA Soft RAID
    32 GB DDR4 ECC 2133 MHz
    500 Mbps unmetered
    $75 - 12 months commitment

I think those good lotteries appear with higher price point?

I bought LE-1 during BF sale and 16 ram was doubled to 32 and 440 disk was bumped to 880 (2 SSD).

Some people got same upgrade, some not, or some even got 1 gig and 1 down speeds.

But if you pay for 32 ram update for example, you would quite likely to get 64 Ram, or at least it looked like that based on the yabs I saw on bf sale.

  • Looks like there is a spring sale

$31 for today then $16... eh (i might buy it but again idk)

  • Ordered BFSTOR21-2, if anyone interested in:
Disks are HGST Ultrastar DC HC520 (HUH721212ALE601), with the power-on hours around 45k
No bandwidth lottery (1Gbps down, 500Mbps up)

I wonder why they don't seem to offer the Xeon(R) CPU D-154[01] which would have been really good for these kinds of boxes.

These would make for some pretty sweet ZFS storage.

    I think KS-2 used those D-1541? :)
