My personal experience with OVH has been that their "1Gbps Guarantee" means fuck all, to be perfectly honest with you. I mean, just saying.... But, still... Doesn't mean much if you can't make use of the port like with Hetzner, for example.
At least they dont fucking ban you for exceeding 200TB in single month on their "unmetered" 1Gbps like hetzner does if you dare to try it.

I haven't had issues with the 1Gbps guarantee at OVH in recent months. The original RISE-S came with 1Gbit Guaranteed Bandwidth so you could complain in a ticket if your bandwidth is throttled. The products you want to watch out for are the VPS range and older Game servers that came with 250Mbps burst. Those are the two products I recall that suffered from bandwidth throttling.
