Yeah but just between us girls... I've never thrown so much hip in my life.
never say never
Websites on wde1.wndp.pt are not accessible again... FTP and Cpanel is working.
This is not a nice situation
Looks fine to me but I would have a hard time believing that this server isn’t destined to, and surely commonly inflicted with, some performance issues. Litespeed is literally the single thing preventing it from starting a metaphorical fire.
That's right, the pages are now accessible again. Thanks for the quick reply.
All myw's customers were informed of that. Migrate your sites to another provider asap.
Db is down on wde1, no wp backend or CP login
@jar
Damn oversold piece of...
cron reboot eh wot
Gave it another 1TB. Gonna announce the shutdown of MyW soon. The shutdown won't be soon, the announcement will be. I just don't have time for this thing, but everyone will have time to migrate out, so much more than otherwise.
Expected and its not your fault too.
it is eating up your time, beside money.
May be you are prepared for money, but not for support, time.
i have moved all important websites long back so not an issue with shutdown.
but somewhere i heard read, someone else wants to step in.
Thank you for providing this free service as much as you did.
RIP, I think the title of this thread needs to be updated.
I get the message "Unexpected error" when trying to login to my reseller account to DirectAdmin in WDE1 @jar
Let it go, let it go
Can't hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn away and slam the door
I would also be interested in throwing my hat in the ring if @jar is interested in relinquishing control of Myw.
Knowing you won't make any bucks out of it with current state?
I know it's not much, but if you're shutting it down - I'm happy for you to delete my account now if it eases your workload (at least by one account!)
got this message too
Yes, but I would make some changes to at the very least make it viable so it survives. Since I don't know the costs, I can't really give more information. Too many unknowns for now.
do we get a discount for mxroute? or do we need to find someone else? quite not happy about it.
also mail is down right now (and i really need it)
The discounts which @jar offered during BF2024 already were very, very generous, both in terms of price and quantity (even the flash sales).
Even without that in mind (and also the fact that he kept MyW afloat free of charge), his primary service is totally worth buying as is just because of its quality.
You're 'quite not happy' about the guy who kept it alive for free when it was going to deadpool? You might need to re-examine your expectations.
He should have simply extended the life to let's say 2 months
Thats all
Cancel is fine, but since the myw guy is gone the service is down more than email should ever be down.
Im a mxroute customer and i have brought double digit people to myroute as well
Im either switching to mxroute (would need more storage) or whatever else exists
20+gb of mail a lot
Not everyone has cash for yet another service
Tho i would need an upgrade...
Alredy got on plan on mxroute but yeah, not everyone does
He stopped it from shutting down overnight, months ago. If you decided to keep on using a doomed service, for free, instead of taking that as a sign to start looking to migrate to something more long-term I'm not sure that's on Jar.
Whining about it just makes it less likely that anyone will be bothered to step in and save the next deadpool because instead of thanks they just get bitched at for not doing it "right".
This is why we can't have nice things.
It was promissed to keep the service afloat indefinetly
The bigger problem is constant downtime
I dont care about my 50 or 100 bucks i paid, i just want shit to work
I have mxroute account as well, my "customers" have both myw and mxroute
Bigger pain is having a broken service than no service
@jar any possibility that the server will come back up shortly?
something/one is filling up all the diskspace on wde1. thats why it goes down.
