Something is up with Google Legacy
& I just get giddy thinking about it 
Some of u boys already know wt it is...
Its where files go to swim.. like huge number of them
But no one actually knows how it will be implemented.... who knows whether it wud be a boom or a bust 
as dickens put it : we have everything before us or we have nothing before us; we will all go to data heaven or may be data purgatory if not hell
I wonder how it will all play out ...

I had legacy, but now it is google workspace, am I still included?
It's not like I had a choice of leaving legacy, they were like upgrade to workspace or lose it all.
When they were trying to be dicks.
However, they ended up being not dicks and changed workspace to free.

yeh been through the whole ordeal... in anticipation of legacy's termination i shifted everything off takeout , deleted everything and then they said they changed their mind 🤦

POOLED STORAGE to Legacy accounts...
The implication is huge with my 50 or in some cases 1000 account Google legacy leftovers
Ah, I see pooled storage is a blessing. So many TB of space available to my account now.

For sure. We deserve it. It does make me rethink life decisions... You know... When I let some domains lapse, attached to legacy accounts, back in the day.
But you know... So much free storage. Count your blessings. I'll be storing feetpics probably. And UNIXSOCKS pics. If that ever goes mainstream, 15TB is nothing.
Long time ago in a galaxy far away Google was a good humble organization and they gave free Google workspace accounts if u brought ur domain. They were so lenient at first that they wud give u as many users as u liked just by asking u to put a number in a textbox
then they got a bit greedy and started limiting it to 50 users, eventually 10 & then krampus took over and they killed the free plan..... but deep down their dark hearts they had some ray of light and they chose to let those old free accounts live.......
They called them Legacy accounts & we are their caretakers, their overseers, their wardens....

Yeah lol typical google, every time I come back to some old NodeJS script and try to run it, oops something got deprecated, fuck you davide, no run for you today. It's all a "living standard" of sorts.
I got a free legacy with 2000 accounts (15gb each), then moved to free Google Workspace with "only" 300 accounts (30gb each), hope they won't discontinue it
You should get help for that. I'd prefer to do violence to those "I don't particularly enjoy it's existence on this planet", not to myself.
This sounds great in theory but may be hard in practice
Pooled storage limit is 15GB per user for G Suite legacy accounts and 30GB per user Google Workspace Business Starter accounts but problem is the storage is based on existing users not the user limit
Google is strict with its terms for free G Suite accounts so I try to use very lightly and accounts have low number of users activated, even the Business Starter ones with 300 user license
If you have a legacy account with 1,000 user license and want 15 TB of storage space you would have to set up all users and risk Google asking why do you have so many users for a free personal account
But if you do want to do this and set up dummy users for more storage, I read it can be done quickly using csv file in admin console
