How do you test if a VPS is suitable for your local use?

Due to the unique network environment in China, most Chinese users are more concerned about whether the VPS to China route is optimized for China, which has led to the emergence of a large number of VPS evaluation bloggers.
so,How do you test if a VPS is suitable for your local use?
Because based on my testing, I believe there are many interesting service providers among them, and a considerable amount of the content I tested is something that everyone wants to know (regardless of region), such as global up and down speed, continuous ping testing between the world and China, including unixbench geekbench、 Memory read/write speed and hard disk read/write speed\nws.sh\Usability testing of streaming media platforms

What kind of testing do you want to see? Not limited to YABS?
