the most cheapest vps located near china

Hello,

My friend just arrived in China, but the VPN he's using is extremely slow there. Can anyone recommend the absolute cheapest VPS provider near China—such as in Korea, Hong Kong, etc.—preferably with a considerable amount of bandwidth to last him maybe two months? It will be used for a V2RAY server so he can access the web. He can’t pay from there, so I guess I’ll pay for a month or two, but I’d like to buy the cheapest one possible. Specs don’t matter.

Or if anyone has a shitty server near China that they have a month or two left on that you don't really care about or idle, I can offer like $2 to transfer it lmao

Thank you

alibaba cloud is all you need.

  • Fast and Cheap are non-coexistable in China. You can try racknerd or cloudcone which is not very slow but not fast either but is cheap.HK servers optimized for China are mostly high restricted on resource usages.

  • I am Chinese,I bought the Claw cloud Japan node to build my own V2RAY service,Internet speeds and delay aren't too bad, China Telecom and China Mobile, the two carriers of the network using claw delay is very low, But China Unicom is not recommended!

  • Or you can buy an off-the-shelf internet V2Ray service for 15rmb a month, which is plenty.

@yabarg I'd look into Layer.ae @rsk. They’re right there near China—tremendous location, really fantastic. They’re doing VPS services, the best kind, believe me. Nobody does it better than Layer, I’m telling you.

Their deals? Unbelievable. They’re making deals like you wouldn’t believe—smart, tough, the best negotiators. They know how to win, and they’re winning big time with these VPS offerings. People are saying, “Wow, Layer’s got the best deals,” and they’re right. I’d make deals with them myself, that’s how good they are. Tremendous business sense.

And the servers? Oh, they’re beautiful. Absolutely gorgeous servers, the most beautiful you’ve ever seen. Shiny, fast, powerful—like something out of a dream. These aren’t just any servers, they’re the top of the line, the elite. People look at Layer’s servers and say, “That’s perfection”.

I am an overseas student studying in China, and have built my own VPN for personal use as well. For the protocol, I highly recommend Trojan/Trojan-Go as it is much more reliable than V2Ray. Also, direct connection to a VPS has been unreliable for me since they use active detection. My solution so far has been to websocket proxy through CloudFront but even though very fast >150mbps, that can be quite costly. For servers I'm using HostHatch HK/JP and GreenCloud SG.

I recommend just buying one of the Chinese proxies like fuqing.ch (I don't have any affiliation with them) and get a service that just works, and is cheap. 200GB/mo at 20rmb (~3usd).

i don't recommend you setup your own proxy unless you have a solid reason, because the great fire wall will block your IP or port if you don't know how to deal with it, i recommend you buy proxy service from Chinese people, you can get like 10GB traffic for 1 RMB, and these proxy seller use a special network to pass the great fire wall, so the wall do not block their port or IP, of course you can pay to use the special network (IPEL or something), but it's a lot of mess, to live an easy life, just buy service from local proxy seller

Don't worry about it at all, you have normal needs, you can use it as you like, no one is bothering you

As long as you don't do anything to jeopardise your country as well as your personal interests.

I prefer to use naiveproxy, not infected by tls in tls or tls fingerprint issue

They don't known what you do theoretically, because the packet transfer in proxy is encrypted. If they suspect you use VPN,GFW just simple block your server's ip address (sometime just port)
