  • Epinatura (URDN) is up and running. The BGP session was established with them 9 hours ago. 😊

  • keep up with the LibGen copyright drama.

doesn't matter how "offshore" you are when somebody comes in to grab hardware not much you can do

  • LunarLunar Member

Only one of our VMs came up, the other is still down. I assume they're migrating hardware still.

While most of our partners have been very supportive and provided their assistance, we now understand that one of them is responsible for leaking confidential information that reinforced the confidence of the saboteurs.

    Oh 😐

URDN aka Epinatura (AS207656) is down again. Does anyone know what happened?

  • V4 prefix just disappeared from their ASN (Epinatura LLC). Pretty sure they got raided again

  • I doubt that it was any frivolous legal issue (this time), give them time, they are good people, and will be back. They always come back.

    Sucks about the downtime, though.

I mean - I'm pretty sure some of us hosts here would host them for free to keep them online during this - a lot of us have BGP and would be happy to get their prefixes back online. But I think what is going on is that they don't have servers to host customers on. Their routers and all that were probably confiscated too. Sounds very scary. So I mean getting their website itself back online is probably easy - getting their customers back online if they don't have backups is... well --- impossible.

There is no information yet as to why they are currently offline. No one is responding to emails.

I just hope everyone is safe, nobody is in jail or worse --- drafted --- and I hope they all come home safe and find a way to reach out.

Even a simple message on here or on any other their socials or anything so someone can get the news back that they are safe would be amazing.

When they get back online, hopefully they'll reach out - maybe they'd be willing to for example have their website and stuff like that cloned somewhere - so that when their own infra goes down, their backup somewhere detects it and flips on - keeping their prefixes and website at the minimum online. :disappointed:

As this isn't the first time - and they seem to be under fire locally - probably best to take a proactive approach and clone things around. Maybe even with a "canary" such as on the clones, there is a small wording on bottom of page that changes or something, letting people know they are on the backup and their main is down again.
