Searching for local VPS (Germany, BW)
Good evening,
I'm looking for a VPS in Germany (Baden-Württemberg) to host a small CS:S server and a TeamSpeak instance for me and my friends. We're all from the same city, and most of us use the same local ISP (except for two lol).
Since we all want to have the lowest latency possible, I'm searching for a provider with good peering (especially the local one) to the following ASNs:
• AS20677 (local ISP)
• AS3320 (Deutsche Telekom)
Budget can be up to 10-20€ / month
Appreciate any suggestions and answers ![]()
Best regards,
01r

Ultravps.eu for Deutsche Telekom
If I remember correctly
EDIT: In fact, it's not necessarily a good idea given what you want to host. They don't have DDoS protection
I doubt he needs DDoS protection for a server for him and his friends.
Checked using globalping.io and lowest I've seen (tested against 185.36.116.224)
@Clouvider Frankfurt (8ms)
@MassiveGRID Frankfurt (8-9ms)
h2.nexus Frankfurt (8-9ms)
@AezaHost Frankfurt (8ms)
I doubt you'll find lower than that.
We also get about 8ms to 185.36.116.224, mostly they're all backhauling to FRA though. AS20677 is via MegaIX Frankfurt, AS3320 is via paid peering in FRA.
8ms from us in Frankfurt DE to 185.36.116.224

If the server is private I think you can choose to have it not even show up in the servers list in CS:GO, been awhile since I rad my own GO servers though…
@dataforest is a great option
They have peering with DT
Good Morning,
first of all thanks for all the answers.
Will test every hoster posted here (pinging, tracert) and will post the results later
Thanks again and best regards,

Thought about going with @dataforest .
Ping wird ausgeführt für 185.254.96.104 mit 32 Bytes Daten:

Can't get any better than that
Thanks for all the replies and recommendations!
Then just get something like https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/203173/2025-sale-amd-epyc-kvm-servers-from-4-99-mo-limited-stock/p1
Why? They use a completely different network.
Already went with dataforest
