I just woke up and saw like 30 new replies in this thread and I thought that EU finally launched lmao
Same, brother.
It’s always soon™
@Francisco
I can recall that the auto-discovery problem did not happen before you told us that z-push had been successfully deployed. After that, EAS started to work, but then I found that EWS accounts couldn't be added because autodiscovery failed.
I'm pretty sure it's not a network problem or a simple password mismatch case. I'm no expert in this field, but I've tested it many times. So, let me guess the whole process of what is happening and tell you why.
Your servers handled the auto-discover requests without problem initially, and then z-push was deployed later. Since then, z-push has replaced the original handler for these requests.
Here are two cases: 2FA on and 2FA off. To better describe my guesses, I drew a flowchart:

I hope it helps.
It's not a critical error, but it'd be better if it can be fixed.
OK
Someone reported a similar issue on Discord so i'll try to debug it more. They have additional info for me to check.
Francisco
when will cranemail-EU be enabled with or without 2fa for caldav.
Give that another go.
Francisco
Oops, it looks like it gets worse.
Now, auto-discover EWS is working with Apple Mail (this is good) but is still broken in Outlook. I can't add new Exchange accounts to Outlook, although it says success and wants a restart. After restarting, the account is not there. Even worse, the previously added Exchange accounts (added before the autodiscover problem, only namecrane ones) can't be opened in Outlook anymore.
AND, adding a new EAS (ActiveSync) account is not working on iOS anymore. The password was not accepted, no matter which password (2FA on or off).
I disabled CALDAV for now, let me know if EAS is playing nicer.
Francisco
Yes, EAS is back to working. Please PM me when you need more tests.
Test the others while you're at it.
PM me the final 'broken' list.
Francisco
Give that another go.
Ended up I needed to proxy all the extra headers as well for EWS to be happy.
Francisco
Tested on 2 PCs (Outlook classic, Thunderbird, eM Client), 2 Macs (Apple Mail) and 2 iPhones (iOS Mail). All are working good. Problem solved.
Awesome!

Just to clarify, is this how disposable addresses are found?
I do use my webhost for email and they're a tad b1tchy about my recreational creation of aliases, one per signup of anything.
Like them ip/sender reputation matters, and like them I hate spam. How well do you frighten away spammers?
Can my different domains have different ipv4 mail
I really want to be able to Reply-As from roundcube (or other webmail) and not have headers revealing the base mailbox. I have numerous aliases for a mailbox. is that a thing you can do?
More than that I want to be able to have server filters cause MTA rejection. Blackholing is silly.
Can I have wildcard inbox on some domains?
This is for my amusement and not a business.
No problem.

You can setup catch-all, which is what i think you mean

Spamexperts is excellent. People love it.
Francisco
Not sure what "are found" part means, but this is how I was able to create disposable addresses in the webmail interface
@Francisco
every time I want to send a mail I get it back with as a notification that the server ip is on a SPAM black list.
Remote Server returned: '550 A URL in this email (us1.workspace.org) is listed on https://spamrl.com/. Please resolve and retry'
Well I’m a bit confused why thats in the email body? but ticket with it the full body and I’ll check it out.
Francisco
@Francisco
Hello
I have been able to request a temporary whitelist for the ip of the server through the site spamrl.com and now the mail does not come back and arrives neatly to the recipient
i think you guys should contact spamrl.com
Hello
>
It wouldn't be the IP, but i'll see if I can contact them to see what got flagged with the domain name. I'd still like a copy of the email you sent in a ticket if possible.
Francisco
@Francisco
I will try to open a ticket as soon as I get the error message again
at this time the mails are not coming back and also have not had an error message anymore
I can still lookup the details in spamexperts if you ticket with the FROM & TO
Anyway, up to you.
Thanks,
Francisco
Hi @Francisco, just wonder what could be causing the "Online Status" to show for users in one domain, but not another. I'm talking about the small green circle inside the username's initial rectangle at the top right corner in the webmail interface. I have two identically configured domains (just different number of users) and the postmaster user shows online in one domain but not the other.
Minor quibble I know, and mostly curious what's causing it...
Is XMPP enabled on the 'broken' domain? That's XMPP/Chat.
Francisco
I guess it's the one under postmaster - Domain Settings - User Defaults. It's OFF for both, and it doesn't change the result if I turn it back ON on the domain that's not showing status
You need it on
You might have to update 'User Defaults' and propigate it.
Francisco
What I'm saying is the domain that actually shows the status has XMPP setting turned OFF
...That's funny and weird. I was certain that status was for the live chat.
Go ahead and ticket and I'll take a look.
