L2TP Static IP Tunnel Service | Host behind Carrier Grade NAT | IPv4 @ $2.5/mo | IPv6 @ $1.25/mo

FourplexFourplex Member, Host Rep

We’re excited to announce the launch of our new service at Fourplex Telecom LLC: the L2TP Static IP Tunnel. This service is perfect for self-hosted servers and IoT devices behind Carrier Grade NAT or firewalls. It’s ideal for ISPs like Starlink, T-Mobile, universities, or anyone seeking a static IPv4 address or IPv6 prefix.

Our service uses a non-IPsec L2TP tunnel, ensuring compatibility with major desktop and server OS platforms, as well as popular routers such as pfSense, Cisco, MikroTik, and Ubiquiti EdgeRouter.

To celebrate the launch, we're offering a 50% discount on all plans with the promo code 50OFF_MAR25 (automatically applied at checkout). Don’t forget to check out our FAQs, setup guides, and detailed service info.

Our Plans:

IPv4+IPv6 Plan

  • Up to 1000 Mbps (shared)
  • Unmetered data (Fair Use)
  • 1 Static IPv4 Address
  • /56 IPv6 Prefix
  • NYC Location
  • $2.50/month

Order Now

IPv6-Only Plan

  • Up to 1000 Mbps (shared)
  • Unmetered data (Fair Use)
  • No IPv4 Address
  • /56 IPv6 Prefix
  • NYC Location
  • $1.25/month

Order Now

Why Choose Fourplex?

  • Competitive Pricing: Our competitors charge $6-25 for static IP tunnels, but with us, you get IPv6 tunnels for just $1.25/month or both IPv4 and IPv6 for $2.50/month.
  • Unmetered Bandwidth: Enjoy unlimited bandwidth without worrying about caps.
  • Dual-Stack Support: Why choose between IPv4-only or IPv6-only when you can have both in one service?
  • NYC Data Center: Unlike other providers in places like New Jersey or Buffalo, our NYC location ensures superior performance and low latency.

Try now. It was a Dynadot DNS issue which has since been resolved.

Compared to a more modern and secure protocol like Wireguard, what are the advantages of this other than supporting some old routers out of the box ?

  • Sounds great! Thanks!

They listed it on their website. https://fourplex.net/faq/

I tried the Test Download Speed, which is found in the FAQ

My concern is that I tried it on both 1 Gbit VPS that I have, and the Download speed is only around less than 40-50 kbps

Both Homelab, SG, and DE are getting around this download speed.
    Saving to: ‘vultr.com.1000MB.bin.1’

    vultr.com.1000MB.bi 0%[ ] 759.59K 44.0KB/s eta 6h 34m

I wonder if I'm doing something that's not right.

    Thank you

That's actually to test the speed inside the tunnel, not outside it.

To test from outside, try the BuyVM speedtest (we use BuyVM): https://speedtest.ny.buyvm.net/

Thanks, it works fine, and the speed is good. I wonder if port 25 will be unblocked or if it can be requested to be unlocked based on the usage.

I will ask BuyVM to unblock Port 25.

However, we plan to switch to a colocation space next month where 25 will be unblocked.

Gotcha. If there are changes on your end, does it allow a new location or still as is? there will be no modification on the customer side or minor changes needs to be made?

No changes to the customer side, as the endpoint address is on a fully-owned IP block on our ASN.

I've gotten BuyVM to unblock Port 25. Feel free to sign up.

If anything else comes up please ping me here or on WHMCS.

The 1280 MTU is to deal with certain connections such as cellular networks. After all, LTE and 5G has a smaller MTU than normal Ethernet.

We don't do Layer 3 because dealing with Ethernet would get very messy for us and end-users.

About IX ports, we don't have any plans to join an IX in the near future.

It will come out of the 38 block. The 23 block is for our endpoint.

Also, sorry but I can't choose your IP address. The assignments are automated.

Not at the moment. If there is demand we could offer it, but otherwise we'll focus on single IP tunnels.
