@Decicus site saves the data but mr beanman noodle code doesnt unfortunately my stats are going backwards today
So the regular Syncthing software is simply to sync files between your own devices (at least that's the primary use case). There's no cloud storage in-between, so it's not directly comparable to Nextcloud or similar platforms.
Now Syncthing relays are meant to assist users that for various may not be able to connect to their devices across networks. Often due to issues with NAT. Connection is encrypted and the data transfer is routed via the relay so that the devices can reach each other.
