in windows when I press windows + dot, the gifs I get don't actually give me a url, rather the actual gif image. On android i get the link, can anyone tell me if there is a way i can get the link directly instead of the image itself in windows too ?

Don't feel too bad. That's completely normal. Everyone goes through that at least once in life.
If the feeling of withdrawal is too strong, there are several ways to cope with it.
If some of your providers allows moving between locations, try relocating few your idlers. This can make it feel like you have a brand new VPSes.
If relocation isn't an option, reinstalling your VPS can give you a fresh start as well. It's not exactly the same as getting a new one, but it can still bring that new VPS feeling. Trust me, I've been there too.
There's also other work to do. You should add your new VPS instances to uptime monitors. If you've already done that, you should install new self hosted monitors to monitor your monitors from the monitored VPS instances.
You see, there's always something to do to ease this terrible emptiness that always comes after.

I find sleep helps. So that when the next thread comes around, I'm fully recharged, redundant and ready to get back to the races sans any sleep for as long as it takes.
