Without a real looking glass, testing ping to other locations is a chore but not impossible. Though I agree that I'd still like to be able to see the outbound traceroute that can only be achievable with a looking glass or a trial VPS on the node.
I'll post my best guess and findings though if anyone is interested. 176.97.118.85 belongs to AS43180 Trunk Networks LTD who has Cogent and Hurricane Electric listed as the upstreams.
Tracing from various nodes from SGP (CDN77/GSL), AMS (RETN/xTom), Paris (OVH), TKY (Softbank), and CHI (QN), all of which connect via HE, my guess is HE is the primary upstream. All pings seem to match the HE looking glass.
So I'd assume HE's looking glass is the next closest to a looking glass for this provider's network. For now only though, as this provider might downgrade move their routing tables away from HE in the future exactly just like an orange provider.
NWS with ASIA region result €15/y vps
the latency is ok, but the speed is a little bit slow 100mbps to 400mbps 😪
can we get free ipv6 in the future when it available?
Good point. We will have that. In the meantime there is tools like ping.eu that allow you to ping from different destination.
We have handling fees for Paypal and CC if you don't want handling fees you can use crypto.
I cannot give any information about that. There is no immediate plan to have ipv6 at this location at the moment.
last time we checked it was a lot better than that :
