could you tell from which provider(s) you get 1Gbps+ ru server?
as far as I know most servers from russia has only ~200Mbps global bandwidth
If the email and personal data can be changed then yes.
But if @emgh have any other VPS's on that account they would like to keep then it becomes more complicated, if not impossible.
Selectel.ru (I have a special price since I was a customer of one of their sub-brands, so I can get +3Gbps VPSs for like 180RUB/m), vdsina.ru (old plan for 69RUB/m), macloud.ru (same as vdsina), aeza.net/aeza.ru, and a few other random providers

I'm not using any geolocation service atm, I'm just fetching it from the data relays.syncthing.net gives me (which is probably from MaxMind or something)
Eventually I'll use data from ipinfo.io or something.

Also, I have had syncthing in the past like syncthing on a storage vps and then running instances on my pc and my android. I remember creating a syncthing bug report on github long time ago.
But how do syncthing relays fit into all this ??

i use 3 geolocation apis and only take the result if atleast 2 match
if they all mismatch it defaults to the first provider as it's most unreliable and you get some wild shit like dublin iran as a location
dont ask why im getting API rate limited though

IPv6 RA is also causing issue on VF nodes. Prefix from RA is not what's assigned to the VPS.
Got plenty of vps lying around with no use for them, ones with unlimited traffic and some with upto 100TB of traffic
