I don't want to be that guy but price match never goes well, would recommend not doing price match at all unless you have a lot of resources to spare or you limit it to certain criteria (Same location/network etc).
Some people will abuse it and you might end up losing more money than intended. I have a very decent VPS with me since 2018 (ya so no deadpool) and I don't think any provider will be sane enough to price match.

I am not going to defend or speak on behalf of anyone. But everyone wants dirt cheap crazy deals. If someone offers 6/6/6666 for 6 bucks, someone else will go and say why not 2 bucks. But it's up to provider to keep the balance or decide what is acceptable or what not.
If a brand shows up, builds a meme server and sells 5 of it for some crazy price, that will stick around forever in a good way. Or make it a game, or puzzle, whatever. The point is making it happen, put some luck, skills or trivia factor with it and in return: excited and happy customers.
We are not stupid to not know that it's crazy or it's feasible, yet customers will ask for it. There is no shame in saying no thanks I cant afford it, or simply just disappear.
But if someone gets cocky like I can match whatever you buy and then things go south, that's a shit stain on your brand for long time.
Otherwise, we have like 20 providers actively promoting their services from time to time, anyone can match 2 cores EPYC with 2 RAM, that's not a big deal.
The average price of deals on LET has definitely dropped in the past 3 months. Don't get me wrong I still treasure all my deals that explain why I have so many. This cannot go on forever and $7/yr in most cases is already a breakeven price for provider, any lower they are basically losing money, let's be real and hope providers sustain
