    For anyone want WebDav, the upload size is currently limited. I have reported such issue in ticket so in the meantime stick to (s)ftp.

    My 500MB file was uploaded fine but not a 3.3GB.

    Ensure you have set the upload limit in DirectAdmin -> PHP settings and chose max upload file size and post max size to an appropriate value.

    Check pings to the storage server(mine 15ms). Consider tune up sending buffers if ping is a bit high and use better TCP CC.

    ok i just tried scp upload from vps to storagebox and it does 60MB/s from 20ms away very good.

    so my real issue is SSHFS slow both read and write from the same 20ms away vps

    What's the issue? I'm using nextcloud as webdav backend and don't have problems.

    Mine is kept at 7MB (about 60Mbps).

    Real world result:

    • Writing
      I get 25.6 MB/s writing from a VPS (same country as storagebox), and get 3.6 MB/s when writing from my home computer.

    • Reading
      I get 30.5 MB/s from my VPS, and 1.3 MB/s from home computer.

    Usage:

    I'm using it with rclone right now, with the cache turned on. The performance is similar to using a local disk. The copy paste usage is also similar to using a local disk (minus move to trash function).

    Here are the results of the writing performance on my home computer:

    • Without cache:
    dd if=/dev/zero of=./testfile bs=1M count=100
100+0 records in
100+0 records out
104857600 bytes (105 MB, 100 MiB) copied, 29.1344 s, 3.6 MB/s
    • With Cache:
    dd if=/dev/zero of=./testfile bs=1M count=100
100+0 records in
100+0 records out
104857600 bytes (105 MB, 100 MiB) copied, 0.144608 s, 725 MB/s

    I can post a step by step tutorial on using rclone if anyone interested :)
