Looking for VPS with high networking capacity

Hello,
I'm looking for a VPS provider with high networking capacity at a lower price. I'm currently with Clouvider, I opened my server in the Dallas region last night. My server is also operating as an Ookla server, so I consequently have already hit 85% of my data allotment. Their next options are 10TB data bucket addons (my data is being consumed at a rate of 10TB per day...) or to buy a $700 monthly dedicated server with unmetered data. I really like Clouvider since they have 10Gbit networking speeds and all, but I'm wondering what cheaper options there are–if any-for my use case. I'm also using my server as a cellular networking core (4G/5G routing), so I will have a high amount of data consumption. Not sure if there's a cheaper option or if my use case constitutes just buying the dedicated server...

Appreciate any input!

  • why would you host an Ookla server? If you want to use that much bandwidth, you'll be better off with a dedicated server and a dedicated port. You could get a cheaper system from @DataIdeas-Josh or something if you just want Texas.

If Singapore is acceptable to you, we can offer each terabyte of data for $1 for +100tb consumption scenarios.

I want to get my name out there, I've found Ookla servers are a great way to make your name show up in many peoples' screenshots

There is someone I'm guessing on our network or at least in the same datacenter that has "Furry Institute of Technology" . I laugh every time I see that name pop up.

    But come join us!

If want send me a PM.

It's not Data Ideas. I'm not sure who it is. But same. Always a good laugh when I see it as well.

We have Intel Xeon e5 VDS on SSD with unmetered 1 Gbps. They are special quote and ordered for customers since they are limited. Confirming that the VDS are on VDS hosts and are not on VPS hosts, just in case you are wondering. We separate VDS from VPS hosts. Planning on adding VDS on epyc nodes as we scale further, but will take some time.

@advinservers can make this happen for you

In Kansas City you can pick up

    Premium BMM
    20 vCPU (Milan 9654)
    128GB RAM
    2048GB NVMe SSD
    40Gbit Shared
    333TB Bandwidth
    Instant Deployment
    $120/month

https://advinservers.com/cloud -> Click "Premium" -> Select "Kansas City" location

Whatever the additional bandwidth may cost will still put you in well under $700/mo and it's with an outstanding provider to boot.

    Thanks @Petey_Long!

In case you are looking for a smaller option, we include 32TB bandwidth starting from our base model @ $6/month for KVM Premium VPS in Kansas City. We can add an additional 32TB block for +$5/month.
