There hasn't been any decent VPS deals from OVH since like 3 years.
They did 1$/m OVH VPS's recurring, for ever, but now they only do these pesky 12 months new costumer shit.
No OVHCloud till they restock Kimsufi servers. Sent them email and they never replied back.
Firstly, my country is not on the list. As I understand it, politics is fucking with OVH's brain, but, bro, it's not my problem.. isn't it?
Secondly, OVH requires you to specify a real phone number. That is, I need a fake phone number from a country that is on the list. This is difficult, given the fact that LET has several decent hosters of a level no worse than OVH
For example, I recently took a server from Racknerd without any problems, whose technical support is without any suspicions and calm.

Why do you need this information? It won't change anything...
OVH is a private business, they can refuse doing business with country X. Or only customers from country Y. Or only work with blonde customers, or tall customers.
Just because some other company is accepting you as a customer doesn't mean OVH has to also.
With or without reason they can refuse service to you. And only thing you can do is just share feedback saying please do business with us. That's it.

Besides, if we're really going to talk in terms of the measurable impact of your whining on LET against OVH—a multinational, multi-billion dollar company—its policies regarding KYC and fraud prevention measures, the value and volume of your business, and the perceived risk and opportunity cost of your aversion to KYC norms, then that would be an even greater exercise in futility. It, most certainly, will not change anything.

In the very first post I wrote about their KYC system. That's all. And I'm not whining about them. I know a lot of stable hosters and I have about a dozen servers from companies that are not confused by all this crap like OVH. Everything is fine, bruh
P.s. Another thing is that when you see such a serious company as OVH, where you want to buy a server, then you get a little upset and sad that you cannot do this because of the reasons that I indicated above. Of course, you can come up with “some kind of deception” and I know people who do this in order to deceive KYC, in order not to disclose their data, or because their country is not in OVH's list (fuck politics), but this is too complicated for me. And it's not worth it.
I don't need it, i was just curious because OVH supports all countries as per UN charter. Btw, good luck.
