    Commenting it out allows the update to complete; it seems to be a protection mechanism...

    Can confirm this is only a fault in my VM using the Solus template, not in the VirtFusion one

    Yea, greencloud's Debian 12 template is broken which is why I always install manually.
    netinstall is such a pain in the ass on Virtfusion node though as DHCP is not supported.
