honestly, hyping it up that much, @FAT32 coding that thing, saying sorry for delaying it a bit today several times and trying to finish it yesterday to then say sorry no deal and not even say it hours ago when it was clear that 500k was gonna happen is hella shitty, @FAT32 won't say it because he's the sweetest guy there is but this was really shitty, not even letting him know
I think the rate at which things accelerated was quite unanticipated. It was quite slow earlier and then something seems to have triggered a fairly rapid view increase.
Maybe they just didn't expect it so early, esp. with the effort into the "coupon protector".
Let's just be a little considerate - with the new system in place things are likely to be much better managed it seems like real people get pretty decent chances now.
We should be more grateful for what has been posted very generously so far, and I'm sure NDTN and team will post the special "combination" deal tomorrow their time.

It is absolutely unhinged to expect random companies to do give away at time zones that favour you, jfc.
This thread is causing people to just entirely lose their shit.
The problem is that the pace is very bursty. Views jump just around deal posting time and then things slow to a crawl - so it's very much just the "scalping" mindset and not a very participative or community mindset (other than the usual regulars who're keeping the spirit alive).
I think it's very hard to get a read on how the views will actually grow.
After the current happenings it'll die down again for some time till a deal is posted.
