Imagine running an API tarpit to really slow down some of the bots (and AI agents). They would be stuck trying to get the coupons (and presumably retrying rapidly) while the others merrily finish checking out. Aaah... sweet revenge.
I know and I understand, I was like you once. Then google started blocking my IPs every 12-24 hours.
