European-Based VPS Providers

I'm looking for VPS providers not just with server locations in Europe, but which are legally registered there, preferably within the EU (but non-member countries like Switzerland are okay too).
If there is a focus on user privacy and free speech, that is ideal as well. I understand that Europe as a location is a trade-off and not "perfect" for freedom of speech, but I am not considering US companies for this request. If any hosts that satisfy these requests, but aren't located in Europe exist, feel free to mention them as well.

Incognet is based in the US. Gigahost looks pretty good, but their virtual servers are way out of my price range. I can't update the main post, but my budget is no more than $100 per year.

We are registered in Estonia and are privacy-focused https://skhron.eu/
We're located in EU: Estonia & Netherlands
Thanks!
Looks interesting.
Bahnhof Cloud I think starts at like 100 SEK / month
So just over your budget
Won’t get much better than that privacy-wise though
Noack hosting? Not sure on their policy exactly, but worth asking
Same for Alwyzon, which is a provider I really like.
We are registered in UK.

Have heard good things about Bahnhof. I'll check this out.
Don’t expect crazy performance per dollar because I suspect that’s not their nische so to speak, but it’s a provider with not only their own DCs but also a big ISP themselves. They’re harder for outsiders to pressure and if they’re okay with what you host they’ll stand up for your right to host it. Their wiki is a fun read, even it’s not very complete
edisglobal is in Limassol, Cyprus
Hi,
We support freedom of speech, privacy. Use our Moldova, Bulgaria, Switzerland or even Sweden.
Take a look in our VPS:

Switzerland and Sweden are good choices. Moldova we have 1Gbps at Ryzen Plans
Alexhost
Have you looked at BuyVM from @Francisco? They're based in Canada.
Thats new... Did not knew that Canada is in Europe
Map of Europe, made from memory.
That's a really good looking map!
See my original post.
“If any hosts that satisfy these requests, but aren't located in Europe exist, feel free to mention them as well.”
Thanks @10thHouse but I already have a server with @Francisco.
Bahnhof definitely looks interesting.
On one hand there's no IPv6 support and bandwidth is throttled to 100 MBPS for the small package, but it also seems very good for privacy and as a bonus the IP's seem to be classed as residential (isp) on IPInfo.
Pro tip: edit away the last part. The website you mentioned, they have an account on here.
We are also located in EU
We are located in NL EU :-)
we are located in Estonia. Not just "formally" in estonia, but estonian company operated by estonian nationals/citizens.

We are also located in EU, Romania.
What kinds of measures do you implement to protect customer privacy? For those who don't want to use crypto, how do you process and store (if applicable) credit card info?
Apart from what GDPR requires,
Can a repeat customer set up automated renewals? And if so, what qualifies one as a repeat customer? (E.g., you need a minimum of 2 services, you need to have made at least one payment, etc)
Sorry I don't understand what exactly do you mean, but let me explain this point more detailed.
Previously we have used Stripe integration developed by WHMCS team, however after some time it started to not process payments too frequently and we ditched it in favor of more simple integration that redirects customer to a Stripe hosted page to complete the payment. This way automated renewals were disabled. But we have left module enabled for customers who had credit card (its' token actually) already saved.
As for original Stripe integration, customers' credit card was actually sent to a Stripe server despite customer not leaving the WHMCS page. After their initial payment for a first invoice, token of that card was saved to our database. This token was used to pay for a next invoice 3 days before due date. However, customers have ability to delete this saved card, and it effectively revokes that token from Stripe itself.
