  • They say somewhere credits valid for 30 days only and it seems that cheapest plan only in IT and CZ datacenters on OpenStack. Even so, performance is good for the price:

    easiest trick in the book:
make a revolut virtual card, verify then get rid of the card

  • Can you link paypal to get the free credit or does it have to be a credit card?

    Add a payment method
Choose either credit card or PayPal

    says aruba website.

  • The system is difficult to manage. It's hard to manage VMs in multiple regions because you have to switch to each system if you choose a different data center.

The top-up system is also bad. They have completely different panels and login information for topping up credit, which is very inefficient.

Also, they easily suspend your VPS if they receive a random abuse report. They don't even check the report, pointed to previous users for the same IP I used.

    Tl;dr : Avoid.

It's free credit. Anyway, I haven't even been able to log into the panel because the website is so slow.

Yes, very slow.Too painful if you have VMs in multiple region.

I'm lured by their promo, put a production project to them, and am still using it even after they reclaimed the promo. So yeah, enough experience there.

Abuse team is shit, support team only few that speaking english.

Once upon a time Aruba had €1/month servers which were quite good. Then, on 28th of May 2020, I was notified how starting 1st of August they increase the price. I still have that email message, which I kept it as a reminder to try to avoid Aruba.

    Dear Customer,

Please note that, from 1 August 2020, the prices for all active Cloud VPS – Server Smart services (details available on web page), including those already activated at lower prices and renewed until now at those prices – excluding those subject to recent promotions – will be updated.

From the first renewal after 1 August 2020, the following prices will be applied. All Cloud VPS – Server Smart products activated before 15 November 2018 will be brought into line with the new pricing.

Cloud VPS – Server Smart Small: €2.79 + VAT
Cloud VPS – Server Smart Medium Linux: €6.50 + VAT
Cloud VPS – Server Smart Medium Windows: €12.99 + VAT
Cloud VPS – Server Smart Large Linux: €12.50 + VAT
Cloud VPS – Server Smart Large Windows: €24.99 + VAT
Cloud VPS – Server Smart Extra Large Linux: €25.00 + VAT
Cloud VPS – Server Smart Extra Large Windows: €49.99 + VAT
Should you not wish to accept these changes, you may exercise your right to terminate the contract with Aruba, in accordance with the terms set out in Art. 14 of the Conditions for the Provision of Aruba Cloud Services.

We remind you that, if you choose not to renew your current cloud server at the new price, you can cancel the service before the renewal date, following the instructions provided in our guide.

    Such a great reminder 😂

  • Used their openstack servers for our testing environment. Slowest of all dashboard is arubas, they are even slower than OVH panels. I got 100% uptime for almost a year. Issue comes if you want to get support, most of them don't speak english and is painfully slow like one reply per day.
