VPS Infra questions!
Hello everyone,
I'm planning to set up some VPS servers for my clients using my own infrastructure. With that in mind, I considered renting a dedicated server and creating my own VPS instances. However, I have some questions, and I would really appreciate your help in clarifying them.
What is the best control panel for KVM?
I have experience only with Virtualizor, but I would like a solution that ensures 100% isolation so that one VPS does not affect another. Additionally, I need a panel that supports hourly billing.
Control panel for billing and management:
I know WHMCS is a popular option, but I find it quite expensive. Are there any cost-effective alternatives that support the KVM panel I choose?
DDoS protection per VPS IP:
For dedicated servers, providers like WebNX offer good hardware, but they lack Layer 7 DDoS protection. Some of my clients do not want to use Cloudflare. If a VPS IP is attacked, it could impact the entire dedicated server. Is there a way to implement DDoS protection per VPS IP?
Backup solutions:
Some VPS instances may store up to 1TB of video files. What would be the best high-performance backup solution for this use case?
RAID configuration:
Is it better to use RAID, and if so, which RAID level would be the most suitable? Or is it better to avoid RAID in this scenario?
Other important considerations:
Are there any other key factors related to VPS hosting that I should be aware of? Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like you’re very much not in a position to usefully offer this service and so should just refer your “clients” to people who know what they are doing, no? why would you want to put yourself in the middle of this?
