    Agreed.

How shameful. A Moderator talking about teaching victim a lesson but can not banned/teach the scammer. Thank you.

  • Yeah you're cooked bud. Once you've given over admin contact of the server, there is no way to reverse it. And looking at @sulissoft's profile, I would personally never go first. 11 comments is someone who does not care about their account here at all.

    9 years - sounds reasonable
    11 comments - Mild warning

That's just the way of this forum, doesn't matter who is legally/morally correct, only who is the most streetwise and/or has a reputation and/or can be exploited for drama

Wait did bro really transfer a server without receiving payment first to an account with 11 comments

  • beanman109beanman109 Member, Host Rep, Megathread Squad

you'd make a great customer for Calin

  • @IIMKIIVG if you ever got the server back, I would like to purchase it, if you accept PayPal cause I don't have crypto.

  • Sorry you got scammed @IIMKIIVG

Contact OVH Support and they might be able to help you.

This is the reason why sometimes I ask "payment first" to a buyer to avoid this kind of mishaps.

A dormant account with latest comment posted in 2021 and has just been active recently should raise any suspiciousness.

Oh my god! I just realized I missed the grandest popcorn event!

  • I think he is really owner sulissoft[.]com maybe he is registered LET under by his email @sulissoft[.]com, you can check his domain / business never really sold. It's really easy to find him in internet, as he practically sells webhosting in indonesia market.

anyway; CRYPTO ONLY JOINED 1 MONTH AGO

All of this scam makes me wonder if Ovh, hetzner and rest can have a escrow like system so they can hold the server on your behalf and in case the payment isn't there the server isn't transferred

It's complicated ig but wow, I always felt like server transfers was very sus, it's so easy to scam.

Well... I recently just got a server transferred to me and when I confirmed my side. It still waited for the sender to confirm as well.

I've never transferred one out so I guess I will see this weekend but even so... That is the risk... And this is built on trust.

I'm sure they could not care less. Why would they?

This is something that could be solved by the community.

  • Regardless of what people think of the OP, scammers are fucking disgusting

Isn't there an OVH rep on here, maybe they can help?

  • it's sad to hear that.
to be honestly, I also like to trade with crypto, and my account also registered Dec last year, and get two servers here, not so expensive, just $10-20. they send the server first too, thanks their trust.

surely, we need to be careful about the trading, and avoid being scammed.
the administrator checked the profile, and explain high risk of crypto payment first, it is good.
but I think it's more polite to just clarify it and warn people rather than making fun of it.

as this case already happened, @IIMKIIVG is the victims, he is not so vigilant, not so careful. instead of laughing at his losses, shouldn't we give him some good advice? blame the scammer, and find him out? his registered email? his login ip? is it possible to contact ovh support to get the server back, or get the scammer's profile? anything else may help him to solve the problem?

Finally that's what we call a "Professional Reply"
These keyboard warriors are making fun of victim and defending their senior member @sulissoft who scammed me.

Because if senior members scamming "CRYPTO ONLY 1 MONTH OLD MEMBER" then who will they torture next time? And help scammers scamming? So they decided to make fun of me and defending their senior 9 YEAR OLD member. SHAME ON YOU ALL & YOUR PARENTS!

    Thank you @fengzheng

  • bruh, sad for you

    Reguards,

  • Nothing senior about an account that only has 11 comments with its last one being 4 years ago. Only thing that shouts is its a burner account.

  • Never expected that how dead are these peoples from inside. Making fun of victim. Defending scammer.

Karma is everywhere my friends. I hope that you all involved will be treated the same way one day and I pray for that with my deep saddened heart!

According to @allthemtings 1 month old member is scammer so 9 years old members is trusted right? That's how he judges me.
