HINT: If you decided to post something like that on public forum at least provide some piece of information that provider (if even decide to dig into it) can identify you - order number, invoice number, anything, something.

Other new products will follow in a few days.

There will be a storage limit on the eligible Power House VPS's of 8TB, as if you need more than 8TB, the VPS Storage Fleet is better in price that way - these ones are getting a redo also shortly.

Almost Forgot, RYZEN Deals will come, for the moment we are in early testing phase of systems, These will be available with up to 20 TB addon, still waiting for that Netapp DE6600 unit to re-use the small drives ( 8TB to 14 TB ) we have after the upgrades we did.

Also, we tried ( but failed ) to implement some auto-reply to tickets so they can be categorized, if by accident ( on our side ) your ticket was closed and the issue not fixed, please reply to it, so we can solve that one also.

    PSS:

OK Fellas, here is the DEAL.

For those of you who snagged the $1/year or $7/year deals, instead of letting them sit idle, you now have the option to exchange them for account credit. Below are the eligible products and the credit values they can be exchanged for.

BF - Revuelto - Credit Value 15 USD
Little Dragon - Credit Value 10 USD
FAT32 Special RS VPS - Credit Value 7 USD
Promo VPS - The 7-10 USD / Year NEW Trend 2024 - Credit Value 20 USD
HostSolutions Legendary Deal from the Grave - IPV6 Only - Credit Value 5 USD
In Search for Cociu - 7 Bucks VPS Ticket - Credit Value 15 USD

The credit can be used to pay other invoices or to grab some of our other offers.

Once exchanged, the credit has no expiration—you can use it whenever you like.

This offer is valid through 2025.

To take advantage of this, simply open a ticket with us and make sure to include "EXCHANGE VPS for CREDIT" in the subject line.

    Cheers,

    And as always, best regards!

I guess this is the correct place to ask my question.

I tried to reinstall OS with custom image but always end up with a boot loop.

    Here's my steps:

    1. Reinstallation -> ISO images -> Netboot.xyz
    2. Click on "Boot from ISO"
    3. Go to VNC and complete installation with this partitions
      • root /
      • swap /swap
      • boot /boot
    4. Finish installation and reboot
    5. Boot loop happens and I cannot get into my OS

Tried remove the Netboot.xyz from CD/DVD Disc Image File but boot loop continues.

The only way to fix this is to reinstall from OS templates (the wait time is around 15-20 minutes), and thankfully I can access my machine again.

    Any help is appreciated!

Instead of booting from ISO, you could boot from GRUB or iPXE

In fact I've never done this other than booting from a normal mount of ISO. Maybe it's time to look into this, have you tried this (Grub or iPXE) from Host-C panel?

I didn't need netboot with Host-C but have used GRUB or iPXE to boot it with other providers when the ISO doesn't work or is outdated

    Here is instruction for iPXE
On VPSes that use KVM, you can usually connect to the VPS via VNC, reboot it, press escape while rebooting to get a boot menu, then select the iPXE option. Once iPXE has started, press Ctrl-B and follow the instructions above.

For QEMU you can use an image or ISO to install standard Linux distro and then set it up to boot into netboot.xyz
