    Wow thanks everyone for the comments, feedback and DDoS :p. I have applied the Pro package limits to everyone before this comment. I won't tag you all ;).

    IPv6 supported (IPv6 only origins too!)

    Are you sure?

    debian@bbb:~$ curl -v -6 --connect-timeout 5 https://dutchis.net
    *   Trying 2001:67c:e98::1:443...
    * Connection timed out after 5000 milliseconds
    * Closing connection 0
    curl: (28) Connection timed out after 5000 milliseconds

    Guess they currently have some IPv6 issues? :sweat_smile:

    Upstream nulled our prefix even though it was protected :/. This has been resolved now.

    Thanks!

    First feedback: Please have a landing page for e-mail verification link - I've clicked it, I was put straight into panel. Did it work? Did it not? No idea. Some landing page or some kind of sticky toast that I need to click the X to close (not disappear after X seconds as people tend to open things in new tabs and switch to those later).

    Second feedback: https://i.imgur.com/k83YfHU.png as I fully understand that you need (or not, personal preferences :D) to validate things... but please give ma "Back" button here or don't hide the menu on the left. If you click on VPS in the menu on the left by missclicking (or checking whatevery you guys have there) you are fucked. There is verify and log out... No back, no menu on the left.

    Thanks for the feedback. I will make some changes :)

    This WAF stuff also makes no sense. I only see ways to modify the request, but nothing where I can set rules it needs to match for the WAF to take actions.

    The caching of stuff is also very annoying. If the user changes the rule, the Redis (or whatever) cache should be removed ASAP. I'm also pretty sure ratelimiting is broken.

    Other than that, good job.

    I agree that the rules can be a bit complicated. A (video) guide will be made for it soon. Updating of configuration will soon be made quicker/"instant". Ratelimiting works fine. Please DM me with your issue.

    Websites settings being there is super confusing. It took me like 5 minutes to find out why my domain wasn't paired with my website.

    Thank you for the feedback. Sound like the setup wizard needs some changing.

    I like the custom approach, however it would be nicer to have better error messages. Seems like your backend already has the appropriate message passed. Just need to feed it through so the end user knows what error they are facing :smile:

  • Btw I wanted to try the DNS service and added a domain, then added the nameservers to my domain. When I check the DNS from a third party checker (https://mxtoolbox.com/DnsLookup.aspx) it says "Sorry, we couldn't find any name servers for xxx"

    Seems the propagation still taking place and I will be checking again at a later time. For CloudFlare it's almost instant.

    Overall, after looking at it, the interface (yes, just the interface) is much cleaner compared to gcore, Cloudflare, CloudFront, etc. However, the free version is indeed very suitable for small projects. I'm curious to see how the pro plan is.

    Beyond the standard HTTP ports, which other ports can your WAF protect? I'd also like to request the ability to toggle WAF protection on and off without requiring website deletion, and the option to whitelist specific IP addresses.

    I just received an email from DutchIS informing my domain is ready to go. This is great!

    P.S. much quicker than expected!

    Nameserver changes can take a while. Cloudflare's register service has an advantage here as they also run one of the largest public resolvers (1.1.1.1).

    Beyond the standard HTTP ports, which other ports can your WAF protect?

    At this time you can only proxy HTTP (port 80) and HTTPS (port 443) traffic. It is not possible to set a custom port. You can force a specific protocol for your origin server.

    I'd also like to request the ability to toggle WAF protection on and off without requiring website deletion...

    You can disable all functionality:
    Web Application Front -> [Your website] -> Overview -> "Disable website" toggle.

    ...and the option to whitelist specific IP addresses.

    Not possible yet. I will add it to the list. Thanks for the suggestion :).

    I would recommend to rename this option.
    "Disable website" implies, well.. to disable the website.
    Just based on that I expect that my website would become unavailable.

    Something like "Bypass WAF" or something like this, would make a lot more sense ;)

  • I'm still in the free plan. Could you please upgrade my account to pro, please? Thank you!
