  • A good piece of advice: Do not host your website on your own servers. Otherwise, if all your servers encounter issues, your website will become inaccessible. (Virmach's experience has shown us that this is indeed the right approach.)

actually is a good idea, because customers can't open tickets or complain.... so its a win win situation

  • I bought a dedicated server, the server has been sent but the login access is wrong, the password is wrong, I have sent a support ticket, there has been no response for 24 hours

  • Nice :)

It would be nice to increase the SSD storage of the dedicated server up to 1TB.

No one seems to be talking about it.
https://dartnode.com/ seems to be down and
One of your uptime monitors is now DOWN.
    Monitor: Dartnode
    Noticed at: 2025-01-29 16:50:36 (UTC-04:00)

your website and all service is down

All services have been restored

We had a major failure in the PXE cluster with corosync, we have added some more equipment and updated the config so this does not happen in the future.

Anyone with a VPS should see automated SLA credit on your account, we stand by our 100% uptime guarantee, and since this outage was our fault we're happy to compensate everyone for the impact it made.

Let us know if you have any questions/ concerns. Always happy for feedback and to chat

Just replied to your ticket, sorry, was a busy stressful night. We're all getting caught up on tickets before we all crash.

We plan to add a failover website soon, so if our servers go down the site does not follow. With the new infrastructure we put in for BF it helped a lot, I know before we would have an outage and everything would go down. I made a bug in the code of the dashboard loading the blog posts, causing the 504 error during the outage.

Living and learning, going to be working this next week on making our website and other backend more resilient

Glancing at their previous post history last month (before this thread was created), I guessed it would be in the 2nd week and I was correct. My guess is this one will also be the same (so sometime this week). Just my guess from glancing and guessing for a pattern.

  • @DartNode great, again VPS is offline, every 6 days now? =)) no way I will renew....

  • trash went offline again

  • I hope you can improve your support.
