Debian. I use it basically everywhere, though on my servers I want to modify it quite a bit in the future (own bootloader, init system and kernel patches (network tuning and bbrv3 patches mostly, maybe also a newer version of xxhash for dm_integrity)).
On my laptop I'm staying with the defaults mostly and "only" modified the init ramdisk because I've a rather complex setup: raw disk -> luks2 -> dm_integrity -> lvm -> ext4 and by default debian seemingly can't mount that.

Yeah. Using debian testing for years with WSL2, works great, but sadly it's rather hard to compile a newer kernel.

I have Win 10 still and it started to annoy me with EOL thing. My PC is too old to switch to Win 11 so I want to switch to Win 10 LTSC version but it requires separate license and not possible to upgrade from Pro to LTSC version puts me off.
