@host_c since you're from RO, I just got a 5/m Dedi in DataRoom, Gelati Romania. Any thoughts on this?

    God, from where

    Primcast.com

Was shared on LET half a year ago, and it's with a rather slow CPU, and with a setup fee.

But it seems that it's provisioned sometimes with 1 Gbit instead of 100 Mbit.

Edit: and it's available in New York as well, and if you pay yearly it's only $4.25/yr. But still, it's slow.

Oh... You can pay yearly... Fuck.

Does your box come with ipmi/ kvm? @Saragoldfarb

    Nope :(

Hmmm. Still it's decent it 1gbit is possible

There's also vat, which I can recover through taxes, but if you're outside the EU there should be none.

Not guaranteed though. Reminds me a bit of OVH lottery (as disk sizes vary and you may get faster network than advertised).
The company seems to be rather old, the ASN was registered 18 years ago.
Network seems to be Cogent + HE.

Yes, I was first told they couldn't deliver. Was offered a bigger one (at additional cost) or a refund... Opted for a refund, then they went ahead and provisionsed anyway, double disk and 1Gbit instead.

I'm surprised it managed to complete the GB6 test at all to be honest.

It's slow but has stamina. Been hammering a lot of rust lately. Almost killed my rpi. My atoms might be even slower.

There's also vat, which I can recover through taxes, but if you're outside the EU there should be none.

If this server is needed for the business to function?

    Yeah why not.

Any VM will probably outperform it...

    @sh97 can prove otherwise :D

    Now I'm curious :)

I don’t recall who or what but he did post (or send me) probably about the worst YABS I’ve ever seen :D

It’s just a question of when, not if, @lukast__ decides to scrape all of LET and all of OGF, parse every YABS and create a leaderboard for best and worst

I think @FAT32 would ban me if I'd do that as that would likely mean >25k requests. Otherwise I'd gladly do it.
