@servers_guru I will take it if possible $10
What's the pricing for faster upload speed in Brisbane? Have you tried combining multiple 5G connections instead?
+1,Likewise, can my A$15.00/yr Ho Chi Minh VM also…
Still thinking about what legally obtained linux distro ISOs should I seed on my new storage VPS
Bean sir, just put 3 SIM cards on top of each other like a sandwich and you will get 1 gig upload in no time!
Like $20 more a month to go to 50mbps upload I think, we do get 1gbps down with that plan though, 1000/50 is the fastest available on residential plans from NBN at the moment unless you have FTTP which we don't.
We're already paying like $120 a month for the current plan though so don't want to pay more when I've just learnt to not use upload for the past 20 years.
5G is pretty expensive here + my online games freak the fuck out as soon as I start load balancing multiple connections cuz of the constantly changing IP addresses from multi WAN
Did @NDTN take a day off today? We miss him so much.
Place it in an optimal location, set it up properly! Test the signal! Debug to achieve a better signal-to-noise ratio... and other factors will lead to faster internet speed! LOL!
yeah but have you tried respawning
I am thinking more of getting a VPS in AU and then route all traffic through that VPS using something like OpenMPTCRouter
I had looked at OpenMPTC so many times, but single point of failures make me sweat
Will this make your IP be a DC one?
I feel sorry for you if so.
In Cambodia $20.00 a month you get only 25MBPS global speed, and 70MBPS local.
It would yeah, basically all mutli wan connections get routed through the VPS so that you don't get public IP issues when your load balancer decides to route 42 packets through one IP and another 82 through the other
happy browsing
Well most things have SPOF if you think about it. For example the company I work in have very sophisticated HA solution but guess what, one fine day the NTP server is down (but no one noticed that), then clock drift happened caused the whole HA synchronization to fail
Given that this is for personal use, I dont see any issue with SPOF
Congrats to all the winners.
I'm sure if I should be the one to do that. @FAT32 any idea?
okay even I have 2 NTP servers cmon
finally won giveaway, thanks @FAT32, @SilverCreek, and everyone! congrats to all winners
DM me the IP and I will have a look
will DM you about the deal we discussed before. I didn't forget but it's just we're quite busy lately
Just ignore my Brisbane comment... go on I don't even care anymore we're just piss to you fancy Sydneysiders
Well NTP server is actually up but firewall rule blocked it
OMG @FAT32 @BEANMAN109 THIS IS THE DAY

DM COMING UP
THANKS ONIDEL
, DO YOUR WORST BEST
Fortiguard strikes again
OpenMPTCPRouter looks good too! I am currently using Tailscale, FRP, and Headscale to connect the devices in my shed to my rented VPS. But there are two ISP networks connecting to the shed, which leaves one idle... (I saw that OpenMPTCPRouter can aggregate two modems).
If we are comparing upload speeds, mine is only 1mbps (yes, 110kb/s), and that's the max I can currently get that isn't 4G or fiber (which isnt really a thing yet). 😞
i'm refusing anything to do with onidel until they atleast acknowledge brisbane is a real place
Thank you @FAT32 and everyone else who helped with this, this was a smooth and a great experience. Awesome job everyone!
If Onidel says it's not, it's not.
