    You can ask for drive replacement, just enable monitoring if the server doesn't ping.

    They fixed my other KS-LEs too. Just this GAME-LE is way too old. So, I already cancelled.. I will not touch KS-GAME-LE anytime soon. :tired_face:

    How to define and show support that it's slow and justify drive change?

    Nope, same spec as ordered. But bad server for my case.

    The drives are too worn out and the server is damn slow. Cannot even access the server or ping. So I cancelled it.

    That's very strange.

    Too good to pass up. Did have an open invoice for one but since Game-LE hasn’t been delivered wasn’t hopeful that would be.

    I guess no more KS-GAME-LE, could ask OVH support but you know.

    Thank you for ordering a dedicated server solution from the OVHcloud range. We are contacting you to confirm that your ns516057.ip-158-69-22.net server is available, and ready to be set up.

  • How do OVH billing cycles work? Ordered server in mid November. Paid for a month. That takes me to mid December. A new invoice popped up and auto paid for the part-month to get me to Dec 31st. Expecting monthly invoices on the first of each month thereafter, but it still shows next due date as 1st January 2025. Anyone had this before? When do I need to put a centime in the meter?

  • So you paid the following, which sounds like they're getting you on a month-to-month cycle?
    mid-Nov -> mid-Dec (1 month)
    mid-Dec -> end Dec (0.5 month)
    start Jan -> end Jan (1 month)

    Except that the last of those never happened. So I wondered if they start billing in arrears after the first month and part month. Only it's now Feb and still yada

    Automatic renewal is enabled by default, for some reason.
    If you added a payment method to your OVH account, they just keep renewing your shit.

    It's not very strange, we had this before.
    Your account got marked for fraud, aka you have to upload your ID.

    If you keep putting in orders, It won't magically make that go away.
    But you can try, eventually maybe.

    Ask OVH, if you ask me, I don't work for them.

    A guy that ordered later than you in BHS, got hits delivered days before yours.

    I will never understand the OVH stock system.
    Given that I ordered a few days ago, I am probably fucked.
