We stopped providing services to Calin, didn't pay. He blamed us for problems with DDoS protection even though he uses cheap MikroTik routers that cannot handle GRE.

He ignored our suggestions to use different devices.

What happens is that @calin spent the 22k on whores and living the crazy life. Today, his server business doesn't matter as much to him anymore. Before he took that money, he didn't care at all. The FBI, DEA, and other government companies now do things right because he spent that money on who knows what.... :#

    I know the story

Hello Alex, I'm never say on public this details about you are bad Anti-DDoS provider, I'm appreciate you hard work

In last 2 months BGP Session and GRE Tunel with you don't worked correctly, literally don't have ping or go down constantly

I'm tested NeoProtect , they protection work good with our hardware , fix wget/curl problems and speed problems

Single problem it's they are very expensive , they don't accept us with cheap prices due to high and long DDoS attacks what we receive constantly

We still negotiate and search a option for a cheap good anti-ddos protection

You did not pay and blame us. And you did write that in your public chat.

To be fair, the cost of getting 2 Romanian thots to Sharpie their ass cheeks is probably like 6 shots of bottom shelf liquor.

Good to know that you publicly talk about issues related to contracts and/or customers...

    @default said:
iHostArt is not a provider at LowEndTalk. Their tag was removed. The reviews here go as far as loosing more than $22.000 to that provider. If someone is their customer, it means it is their problem for not reading reviews or searching the provider online.

This thread should be closed. Good LET drama should apply to the providers registered on LET.

    "Reviews"?

I'm not aware of any ihostart review mentioning "loosing more than $22.000 to that provider".
What did and still does exist though is allegations without any proof and even the "evidence" is just blabla based on allegations by a certain questionable indian provider.

Sorry, but some yada yada without evidence may be common on LET but certainly is not a review.

    @all

Funny, very funny indeed plot-twist: @Calin waiting until he is officially clean, ideally by a court.
And then sues the living shit out of all those [self-censored] who bashed him and publicly called him a criminal, a thief, a thug and such harmed his business.

And it also would have the advantage to teach, to profoundly hammer it in the sculls of those [self-censored] that (a) one is to be presumed innocent unless and until proven otherwise, and (b) that boomerangs thrown at others sometimes return and create real pain.

Leaving this here so in future when Calin complains about the next DDoS I have the receipts to prove that he doesn't care enough about his customers to pay for proper protection.

    Creation Date: 2020-08-17T17:46:37.0Z domain register

That's why we exist to this day, there are certain allocated budgets, and some very careful optimization of money management for cheap prices and no bankruptcy

The time will come when we will invest thousands of $$$ monthly for anti-ddos, but for now this is not the case, we need to reach an x number of clients, turnover, and profit to be able to do this

@Calin said: Creation Date: 2020-08-17T17:46:37.0Z domain register

Is a domain registration date supposed to be proof that you care about your customers, but still not enough to pay for DDOS protection that actually works?

Protip: you're not going to "reach an x number of clients, turnover, and profit to be able to do this" if your network is down every 2nd day because some script kiddie booted up a $4 vultr VM and sent some ICMP packets your way

  • I couldn’t be bothered to read the whole thread it’s too long

Regardless of the price of a service a certain level of service is expected and when you see several outages and unprofessional dramas by a provider if your data has any meaningful value then you should probably move it to a host where it will actually be accessible.

We can provide your cheap protected network link.
Price is 1 squat per hour.

IPv6 is 1Mbps, delivered on a FastEthernet port.
IPv9 is 100Gbps, delivered on a IPoAC port.
    Both are DDoS protected.

    Regards.

  • Please don't bully Calin. He can keep the root user of my production environment hostage and store Romanian porn on my slice and I will still be a paying customer.

I don't know any other provider who has such perfect vibes for running adult projects.

My comment was targeted to ddos = network issues. In my mind that is network problems. But I don't know

Cause @calin seems to say since colocation they haven't had any network problems.

    New vps offline 24/23
We are currently offering a special price of $38.69 per year, which is a recurring price.
Delivery time : Delivery within 40 days after order confirmation.
Note : Since this is a limited offer, orders will be cancelled if not paid within 6-7 hours.
LoL For me, that's 40 days, that's $4,000. For Cali, it would be $40,000.
