Cheap windows 11 RDP Provider?

Any provider who offers cheap windows 11 Rdp

Comments

  • Which location? Budget? Specs?
Why not just get any random VPS and install Windows on it?

  • yup, as said above just choose provider who gives custom iso option :)

  • Maybe @labze [Layer7] has this option right?

    @labze is HostBrr
    [Layer7] is @layer7

but yeah both should have VPS that can run Windows, but not sure if they offer Windows license

There's also Netcup, although not sure if the pricing is what you'd be looking for
    https://www.netcup.com/de/server/vps
    https://www.netcup.com/de/server/root-server

Their RS1000/VPS1000 should be enough to run Windows, and they also support Windows ISO (or custom ISO as well) - they don't come with a license though
note that they have a 12mo contract by default (you can change that for a fee)

the coupon code on my sig should get you 5€ off if you're interested

    Hi,

    thanks for mentioning.

Just like most providers, also we offer ISO mounts so the customer could install any OS -- including windows 11.

As far as i know, for windows 11 there are no provider keys available. These are, ( afaik ) not available for hosting stuff according to microsoft's license agreement. IF this is true, THEN there wont be any provider out there to provide valid license keys to be used in combination with rented servers in a datacenter.

For this, the windows server line has to be used.

So that means at the end of the day that IF @vinayofc wants to have a windows 11 RDP, he/she will most probably have to get a license key on their own.

Yeah iirc the only legal license to run a consumer Windows on a datacenter is with Azure. I was talking about the Windows Server license that some providers provide (often with additional fee) since a specific provider was mentioned in the previous post :)

There are lots of vps where you can install windows 11. But will it be usable that's also a concern. It's a, problem you won't have in Linux distros (well most).

The cheapest usable one I found was, IIRC, hostbrr ipv6 performance vps. It was $3 50/month. It ran smooth.

Isn't me having a license of windows 11 on a server used by rdp same thing?

Or are there different product lines of windows 11 for server?

We provide ready-to-use Windows 11 template (one click installation and you'll get RDP login credentials in your inbox)

    It's same.
Windows 11 is what we use.

Mostly we install windows server 2025 on servers. (the windows 11 version of windows server)
