Looking for Dedicated Server | NVMe | 2-10Gbit/s ~100TB+ bandwidth | EU/APAC/ME

Hi,

I am looking for a few servers with the following config in different locations:

Location: Need multiple locations including EU, APAC and ME. I understand APAC can be expensive in terms of bandwidth so locations close to it with good connectivity would be great (target countries are ID, JP, IN, AU, PH)

CPU: Consumer grade CPU AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, prefer enterprise grade AMD EPYC series or equivalent but I understand that might go above budget
Bandwidth: 2-10Gbit/s with 100-200TB bandwidth. This will be an upload and video encoding server so there will be bursts in bandwidth usage but not constant.
64GB - 128GB DDR4 RAM
500GB+ NVMe (prefer pci, but not a must) Disk space.

Budget: Hard to estimate a reasonable budget because of the CPU (AMD EPYC) and bw, but would like to keep it under 150USD per node.

Let me know if you need any additional info.

Thanks

We could help you out in Amsterdam, but your budget for the requirements are quite low. If you'd raise your budget up ~$200-300/mo, we could assist you.

Our Transit blend in Amsterdam consists of the following T1 providers:

    AS6830 (Liberty Global)
    AS1299 (Arelion)
    AS33891 (Core-Backbone)
    AS12956 (Telxius)
    AS5511 (Orange)
    AS6453 (Tata)
    AS6762 (Telecom Italia Sparkle)
    AS2914 (NTT)
    AS3257 (GTT)

    AS6762 (Telecom Italia Sparkle)
    AS2914 (NTT)
    AS3257 (GTT)

The budget is not firm as I understand my specs are not cheap, specially for the enterprise grade CPUs. I expect consumer grade CPU to be doable within the budget as we already have a few OVH machines for ~100USD a piece with very similar specs to my requirements https://www.ovhcloud.com/en-ie/bare-metal/rise/rise-3/

Please let me know what specs you are offering and what price it would be.

    Thanks

We're not interested in trying to price-match companies like OVH for bare metal. We could do something like this:

    EPYC 7402P
    128GB Memory
    1 TB NVMe
    40Gbps Burst / 400Mbps 95th% limit (~131T/mo)
    $220/month

I know you didn't specify US for a location, but if you would consider our location in Phoenix, AZ (US-West), I believe we have reasonable performance to SE Asia. We have a network blend of TATA, NTT, Cogent and private peering. We have many clients that push volume traffic to SE Asia with us, so I think it's at least worth considering.

We have two deals running right now that I think may interest you for the Chinese New Year, available to all:

    • AMD Epyc 7443p, 64GB ECC RAM, 2x 1.6TB NVMe, 200TB/mo data on 10gbps (extra bonus to 400TB/mo data - see this thread), $166.88/mo, order link

    • AMD Ryzen 7950X3D, 64GB ECC RAM, 1x 1.6TB NVMe, 200TB/mo data on 10gbps (extra bonus to 400TB/mo data - see this thread), $156.88/mo, order link

Our network can be tested here: https://1gservers.com/network.html - We setup all orders within 1-2 days, and often same day.

    We can offer this

    [LBLK] AMD EPYC Dedicated Server

    • EPYC 7302 (16c / 32t)
    • 64GB DDR4
    • 2 x 960GB NVMe
    • 200TB @ 10Gbps
    • Spokane, WA, US West
    • $133/month

This is a US location, but we use NTT as our primary upstream which has a decent connectivity to Asia + peering in SeattleIX.

You should read my comment again, I never said I expect you to price match with OVH, I said my budget was fair and doable for consumer grade CPUs since it was 50% HIGHER than what we already pay OVH! Anyways thanks for your offer.

    Hi,

how many server do you need?

    We could give you some:

    Ryzen 9 5950X
    64 GB RAM
    1 TB nVME
    IPMI Access
    1 Gbit/s incl. 100 TB Traffic
    1x IPv4/IPv6

    = 119,- EUR / month

    Serverlocation: Germany - Frankfurt/Main

If you really need more port speed, we could give you more ( 10G ) but then we would be at 149,- EUR incl. 200 TB Traffic -- not sure if this is really worth it for you.
