    I would suggest setting up a small VPS to act as a gateway for Wireguard and PiKVM.

    That way, you can leave the laptop at home and be able to still access it anyway through VPN.

    I found Dallas to be cheapest...

    I am still spoiled from my Telco days when a rack with power was ~$100/mo

    I ended up in a secure storage with power for $300/mo but the power was up and down...

    All depends on what your looking for.
    Can get decent pricing in Houston (Spring) as well.
    We do all sorts of colo.
