Usually after account verification/ validation vat is removed
Like if you have an existing account with a verified address then you're VAT exemption but if you sign up an account today then you can't get VAT exemption even if you submit proof of address due to the policy change

kinda weird cause I remember someone else making a post couple years ago and vat exemption was possible.
I would still contact support and get it cleared. Things above probably changed.
Or wait. Maybe it's cause they have EU subsidiary specifically for thay.. not sure why would non European folks make an account there. It's probably not even possible.

Talking of OVH taxes, I just went checking my past invoice. yep, I'm non EU resident that has been charged with 23% VAT since 2020 🥶. That has been until sometimes in April 2024 that they just stop VATting me for no reasons.
