a server for just a week!

Hello , I'm looking for a server as an alternative

• 4core/8 threads 2,60Ghz (dedicated) or better
• 8Gb DDR3 ECC RAM or better
• 30 GB SSD or more
• 1 gbps Dedicated Port (80-100TB)
• EU Location
• crypto payment

It will be used to bypass the censorship in Iran .

    Can't push 100TB in week.

Even if you fully saturated the link (someone please correct my math if it's wrong) at 125MB/s for a week.
    604,800 x 125 = 75,600,000 / 75TB.

Out of curiosity, what VPN protocol do you use to bypass censorship in Iran?

Tor snowflake proxy can be used to bypass the censorship. I set up a few over the years and I usually see a lot of connections from Iran and Russia. Not sure if these are real people or just some bots but I'll probably never know.

There was also some Signal proxy but it's more involved and I'm not sure if it works nowadays.

I don't know the answer but if I can give my 2¢ it looks far more like a DDoS plan especially because of the 100TB in a week and crypto payment.
I could be wrong of course. Maybe you meant more like 8-10TB or just "unlimited" with FUP (as some providers do).
Also I don't get why bother bypassing censorship only for one week.

    Literally this. Doesn't make sense.

  • I don't think you need THAT beefy of a server. I think you can get away with even cheaper offers IF you want to just run Wireguard.

Wireguard is not for bypassing censorship. Wireguard has clean fingerprint which can be blocked in less than 1 secs.

Yeah , my bad. At this point most protocols are ok .
    ipv4-Grpc without tls
    ipv6-Grpc without tls or reality

    Also websocket (fastly-cdn) is working.

I gonna run 3xui script and make a vless config, around 500-600 people gonna use it (ofc illegal things are blocked) , this is the reason why the usage is so high.

About the crypto payment , Paypal ain't available in Iran , we ain't connected to world bank , we don't have credit card so I think there's no other choice.

    And about the duration (1w)
I'm just in rush cause I want to buy a server from ovh but we can't make an account in Iran . So I have to buy it from a person outside of my country who can pass KYC. The person that I got vps from before, hasn't been available since 2 days ago and I'm just looking for an alternative.

that person goes jail if caught on home country? It is not fair to ask, I am too curious, what those 80 to 100 TB contains? sort of videos or pirate movies?

Even in this case I think you don't need that much bandwidth. Of course I don't know the people you're going to share the bandwidth to and what they're gonna do with it. Let's say with 1Gbps port each user which get ~2 mbps in the worst case. But realistically speaking not every user is connected and actively transferring data all the time.

Also not to understate your idea but couldn't the users use already established solutions like Tor? Snowflake proxy masks traffic as webrtc and there is the new WebTunnel protocol which looks like regular HTTPS connection.

Okay, I understand. Thankfully a lot of providers support crypto nowadays thanks to payment processors like cryptomus. That wasn't the case just a few years ago.

That makes a bit more sense. I don't know any providers that support weekly billings. There're some that charge on hourly basis but not sure if those support crypto and can fulfill your other requirements. I know Scaleway does that although I personally had terrible experience with them. You may find similar services charged per hour on this forum.
Remember you can usually cancel the service before the end of monthly billing period but you probably won't get the remaining days refunded.

As for the actual provider I'm in no position to recommend anyone in particular since I'm new to this forum. My two go-to options for private hosting in the EU would be BuyVM and IncogNET but they seem to be have stock shortage in Europe currently.
