Spike Telecom LLC. Retail Service Termination Notice

Dear Spike Telecom LLC Customers,

First, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for your support and trust in Spike Telecom LLC. After careful consideration, we regret to inform you that our company has decided to discontinue all retail customer services, including VPS and VDS offerings.

To ensure a smooth transition, we will issue refunds to all current VPS customers based on the remaining service days. Refunds will be processed within 4 working days and will be returned via the original payment method without any handling fees. For security reasons, we will not accept alternative refund methods. Additionally, all retail customer services will be officially terminated no later than January 26, 2025. Please ensure you back up your data before this date.

For security purposes, the company's official Telegram group will disable messaging. Please be vigilant against potential scams. Spike Telecom will only contact you through the following official channels:

    The time-proven Gillette model: Give them the razor, sell them the blades. Speaking of which, years ago I found a Gillette razor in the mail, free and out of nowhere.

    One LowEnder around here gives them the VPSs and sells them the dedicated. It doesn't seem to be working though!

  • Sad to hear that another provider is closing. Nowadays it's just too hard to keep up with the many LET providers, I only know a few. This market is tough.

    Problem is, if I name the name, the unnamed one would come over in full armor defending how profitable every one of his tiniest sales is. And we would believe it.

    I lurk here daily and never heard of them, so wasn't for sure if it was a LET provider or not. Still not sure.

    Short notice, but at least they're offering refunds to those impacted.

    They probably learned that if you give refunds AND a couple of months notice it creates multiple massive drama threads where your company name gets dragged through the mud.

    I would categorize that as "absolutely awful handling overall" instead of the refund itself.

    Some may sad that 9.99$/y HK vps went 0 too fast. But atleast their HK is real, not imaginary SG lol
