    You can get a rough idea. This is from my home ISP (Barcelona)

    From my home to Madrid

    Checking from other networks, CubePath's transit is not that bad, but Orange is basically the biggest ISP now (considering that they bought almost every small ISP here)

    I just wonder if every connection in BCN must (or mostly?) need route to MAD first then went back to BCN ...

    Check my comment above. I'd say mostly are routed through Madrid but there are some direct links from BCN too.
    I think Cogent had a PoP in Bilbao, so that could also help.
