RISE-S is available in 1H-High in GRA, hence it is showing in stock on the website.

They haven't added GRA to the dedicated_datacenter array against the catalog, hence it is not orderable when you go to the page.

comingSoon was not there before. These DCs were added on Monday according to my monitor.

Can you please also monitor Advance line for real ECC options? According to Oles they are coming but no ETA. Maybe you can tag me, that would be awesome

Advance server's all come with ECC?

No. It's On Die ECC which is the default for DDR5. So basically it's not "real" ECC. The RAM manufacturers added On Die ECC so that they have higher yields, but it has nothing to do with real ECC.

  • @wuck said: Advance server's all come with ECC?

I think it is about on-Die-ECC vs real multibit ECC. Currently those new Advance servers come with on-Die-ECC.

  • I see some RISE-LE-1..5 being added to the API (availabilities)

Is Rise LE different from Rise S?

  • LE is just limited edition

  • niknik Member, Host Rep

Via API I can find this model:
    24adv02.ram-64g-ecc-5200.softraid-2x960nvme

But not on the website. On the website there is only:
    24adv02.ram-64g-on-die-ecc-5200.softraid-2x960nvme

    Does anyone know why?

    50-100 more likely for RISE

  • I don't know why people are getting their hopes up.... the RISE-LE configs are likely just servers that haven't been renewed and it is going back into the pool.

Because there is availabilities and catalog. Things appear on availabilities before catalog. When they are on the catalog you can order them.

Since it is available in FRA in 72h, can I assume it will show up in the catalog within the next 3 days?

no. there is no way to tell when it may appear on the catalog.

FRA stating 72H is saying if the server was orderable, it would take 72H to turn up.

I posted links for US, so there is hope it comes soon. Guessing a weekly deal until end of january.

  • I wouldn’t expect much from these unless they come with new config which is unlikely for LE server

I have no hope. OVH never reuse product codes after a sale is ended. US have likely just left the links there, as most of the subsidiaries do.

  • OVH are working on bringing 9900X servers, no ETA. They have asked for opinions on what configs people would prefer in their discord.

  • Yea I saw the poll, they show price of addon but not base price :#

  • Finally they are restocking KS-LE-A. Nice!

    how do you buy it?

  • Do they have looking glass? I want to test ping

  • LE-A--E appeared on the API. They reuse the planCodes. The new kimsufis are under new codes.

Might be low stock on A-E or qty-limit or increased price, as category not filled up yet.

Prepare the bots, API knowledge, it will be available in the next 1--2 weeks. And when appears on the catalog, API can report the quantity limit per order. I don't know about they implemented per account limit of well-priced servers but probably not.
