Yup, but, I am also glad that new members got the chance to join in and win.
Forunately, it worked right off the bat for me.
I share it to give motivation, the hype is so worth it!
@dustinc Did LA have upcharge or a different pricing schema? I.e. different spec for the price or is the new years and black Friday quotes applicable to LA?
Frankly, we all were slower this time compared to the earlier giveaways. Most of the gang i still waking up or busy with their work. So, the competition this time around was on the lower end. No worries. They will all join in soon and it's gonna get crazy.
And, I thank you for your service.
dustinc can consider placing orders from the other country.
Did you miss Dustin's comment on LA VPS?
That's a good idea, but, often not very economical. Most of the items in the prize pool are cheaper or much cheaper in the US than most other countries. As for RackNerd merch, they have the limitation of being capable of only being shipped from RN, USA.
Yeah no way I would ever come so close while using mobile when the full squad was here
Yeah I'll email, he didn't mention price and specs. Was gonna sort it here for public domain if interested
Gonna reach out about the BF pricing for LA. May be exempt though cause technically sold sale.. they still have it listed. Fingers crossed
All the times (2 or3 tops) I have won using my phone, the whole gang wasn't here.
Ah, OK, pardon me then.
Custom made items will cost less in some countries.
I really want that 2.5GB deal in LA
Will see what he says
Good luck, buddy. He did mention they will be restocked in the next few weeks.
That's true, but, most electronic items are cheaper in the US.
They have a more complete industrial chain and labor costs. Some digital products have similar models with similar or lower prices.
I forget, where are you from?
The 2.5GB deal is out of stock, but you can still get the 2GB deal here
Affiliate link.
Really enjoying racknerd so far.
Me too. Enjoy it!
I would've assumed you guys had a direct train line or something to the source. Much easier by> @BlazinDimes said:
Looking at the 2.5gb kvm vps. It seems like only the same couple data centers have stock across all offers at the moment
Just realized that even though this was originally an LA plan, San Jose is the closest you can get. LA is sold out.
Join us during the giveaways as well. Triple the fun guaranteed.
Regardless ot the line, the customs charges here cuse higher prices on tech. The only option for us, is to have these companies manufacture in-situ.
Man editing mobile is hard. Apparently I never got my message sent. I thought you guys would have trains or roads fo cross country to keep costs cheaper there than in the us. Boats and planes are expensive
Ah so its just customs them
The US hates trains for no good reason.
Unfortunately, they are exactly what we have to depend on. But, more companies are opting for manufacturing within India, which is a good thing.
