yeah i think noob perfected it. I cant believe how fast he can go and keep up with the hype when hes using his phone. I tried it the other day and it was a real struggle.. Fighting with auto complete and spell check. Just wasnt worth it. The popups of new posts also devoured my screen space
Arent those dj headphones? I dont think you really have to use something specific. You just want to be able to hear the 2 different channels so you can preapare mixes on both sides. Im not a dj.. but thats what i always thought

Thats all i am really hoping for the most.. well that and flash sales. Both of those are the bomb. The flash sales are great and you cant beat free upgrades for life.. those are costly add on services
I dont remember those times. All I remember is battling whomever was on the PC so i could place a phone call without picking up the phone and hearing the beeps of their network connection than realizing i just screwed up whatever it was that they were doing
sadly bk crowns are limited. i've walked into a location once though and was surprised about the vast number of crowns they have sitting out for the taking. Glad they have not been done away with as it was always a highlight as a small child. I have to say though, i dont think i have ever seen any kid or adult out with one in public.. does anyone else actually take them or is it just me?

@ralf , i take great pride in knowing that amongst the top 10 posters, you and I have a closer running for the highest average words per post. I feel that is a statistic that is too often left in the dust. I know we are not ones for looking at numbers and leaderboards but it says something that you and i can be so engaging by saying so many words a time. It appears we both enjoy pulling in the readers on a novel converation, no matter how serious that topic might be. When it comes down to it, we get down in dirty and let our words do the talking. So many things to express and so many words and phrases to choose from, it often becomes a struggle as to how we can find the proper way to express ourselves to the fullest with the most accurate langauge. Consider too that often times what we say has to also to travese language barriers to reach those who may not have english as a first language. Therefore, the choice of our words, the strucure of our sentences become that much more important. Alas, I think our average words per post helps convey just how complex it is to achive this. At the same time, while many people navigate our wall of text, it often times appear that though things being said may be interesting, they ultimate find that they just spent time reading a wall of text that was nothing but a long series of random jibberish that flowed through a mind somewhere in the world and manifested in movements of fingers that translated to key presses and simple bits transimitted over many miles to reach audiences all over the world.

@ralf Hey, I haven't been digging and commenting on older posts, because of the unwritten rule or rather an understanding among some of us to not indulge in that. You know of it, cause we talked about it a few days ago.
But, I wanted to make myself clear this one last time. I do understand that you are a RackNerd customer as well. And, I do agree with some stuff you mentioned in your comment. I should get out more to the other threads, being one of them. I do peek out of this thread and generally look into the other threads. I do follow them, some of them being informative, for example, dev_vps has some pretty neat answers to queries here and there I stumbled upon. But, many threads here are too advanced for my understanding. So, when I do stumble upon them, I give them a read and generally thank them, but, refrain from engaging cause I have nothing to add, cause I am a noob. I do pose questions time and again when I can't find answers upon googling. And, members on LET have been really helpful. Moreover, I am an introvert online and offline, been like that since some years now. Trying to break that. So, I do have the bad habit of getting into a routine and getting really comfortable with it.
That being said, this (posting on an RN thread) is a routine I really enjoy. I also mentioned this in passing, on the Megathread, but, I foudn RackNerd at a very low point in my life. Spending time on the thread last year saved me from something unimaginable. I won't discuss the adverisities that I had to face, but, they were too much for me to face at the time, and the thread was a nice outlet. So, I have more reasons to thank RackNerd for, than you think and more than what I can explain in words.
As for the spam issue, it does exist. I am not gonna deny it. But, here a re a few things to note:-
1. Compared to last year, this year, the thread is much more productive. Last year, I and Frank were involved in copy pasting facts and such. That's a well-recorded historical occurrence for the members of this thread. We did pay the price though, and since then, the thread's mostly productive.
2. Comparing threads for spam, imo, is unfair, cause, it's highly subjective. For a person enjoying a thread with people he considers friends, throwing inside jokes all around, might be considered spam by a person just entering the thread. This is true for every thread with high participation. And, don't get me wrong. We love the Megathread. We respect and love FAT32 and emgh among others for all the awesome stuff they have got going for the community, even sacrificing their real life and jobs, at times. But, with the limited time, in our aily schedules + me being an introvert, I mostly spend my time here. Nothing against anyone or any thread. I love LET as a whole, how can I not, since thats' the only reason, I got to know about RackNerd and met such wonderful people.
3. I have made it a habit to reciprocate in kind. If another person is having a serious convo, I won't interfere with silly jokes and such, or interfere, esp. after the unwritten rule, as I talked about in the beginning. But, if someone is just fooling around, I would join them as well. For example, me, TrK, xpress, Ben, etc. had many fruitful conversations on the BF thread. I got to learn a lot about servers and a lot of other stuff from them. We even discussed the philosophy of life and memories and such when FAT32 joined us briefly during BF.
And, from your words, I can concur that you seem to think I have this unhealthy obsession with RackNerd. But, believe me, I don't (for the most part). I know there are cheaper deals to be had, if I would look past these few threads. But, this is a person's own preference. I love RackNerd for their deals and like many others here, would like to stick with them for the foreseeable future.
I am not sure how much of that you are able to relate to, but, that's most of what I have to say about my participation on these threads. I hope you understand. Even if you can't relate, I hope you will respect my right to choose.
I wish you all the very best. And, it's been nothing but a pleasure having you here. We love newer members joining in, but, we do hope that someday they also get the RackNerd cheer and spirit that most of us have come to love.
