    tickets they answer.
straight to the point "no BS" which is great and thats how i like it.
for now i will add yabs for you later.
been idle for 1 month now.

That would be great. I really don't know if I picked something from them this BF or was it another German host..

Probably one of the best in terms of price.

    Support is great.

Performance is very stable and beast.

I am using it as windows server so can't give yabs. But it's very smooth.

If anyone gets one available, then buy it ASAP. You won't regret.

  • @ProHosting24 new promo? :(

  • @ehab @plumberg YABs , received system 2 days back, yet to setup, idle state right now, 5 Euros per month one BF.
Received a FameSystem today 24Gb, 6 core, 8 Euros/month or 80 Euros/year posted that in FameSystem thread. Looks both located in same data centers/location, the ping is 0.4 ms between two.

    Hey Guys

We reconfigured some things on the ceph clients and have added plp safe caching options resulting in greatly improved io performance.

You can benefit just by reinstalling your machine, see a yabs attached:

I didn't think it was possible to achieve this performance with ceph. Well done !
It would be interesting to see the latencies compared to local storage.

I would have tried it but I forgot to renew my Genoa VPS.

What is certain is that it is largely efficient enough for most workloads , even for a fairly large database.

Thanks! Running CEPH at scale often requires going deep down the rabbit hole, but it pays off considering the pricing of solutions like Pure Storage, StorPool, Simplyblock, etc. The stable release of Crimson-OSD could improve things significantly, though.

  • Does it have to be installing from a template only or a custom ISO will do too?

You will need to reinstall from a template, after that you can install from iso :)

I chased them to get my VPS. @ProHosting24 you use Ceph for volume ie VPS right? Possible to get 38 GB per second?

Interesting user name @MMMMMM next best user name would be "Aaahhhh"

  • I have one question. How do you install os by mounting iso?

I tried, installed driver but in every windows os, it is same error. Either "the system does not meet the requirements" for windows 11 or for other windows, it'll complain about gpt format.

If indeed to boot via non mbr, how should I approach in this case because where I'll get the settings to use gpt instead of legacy?

  • Is there any way other than reinstall?
It's a hassle after I set it up for everything.

There's bootup script for acronis true image. So in theory, you can take the snapshot of the whole disk and then restore with all the drivers and applications. It doesn't take more than few minutes to restore the whole drive (I use it myself for personal computers).

But in this case, I don't know where the restore image will be saved because you are allotted one disk and you can not (should not) write while building the image.

A bit confused too in this case.

Spent the whole night yesterday trying to install from a custom iso but except Ubuntu and Linux distros, all the windows Iso failed.

I did not install Windows on ph24, on Herzner, there is process of installing Virt IO drivers for network, kvm, scsi disk as part of windows setup. Otherwise hetzner too, not a direct install for Windows as is, Hetzner given a separate moutable iso for drivers.

Now we are completely off Windows.

In ph24, if you choose custom windows iso, then it automatically mounts Virt IO drivers on a secondary drive. I guess it's the same process as you've mentioned.

The only problem I am having is, OS being gpt and the alloted virtual drive is mbr.

Windows Server 2022 (BYOL) working for me. PH24 also enabled TPM and BitLocker has worked to date.

    Hey Guys

We reconfigured some things on the ceph clients and have added plp safe caching options resulting in greatly improved io performance.

You can benefit just by reinstalling your machine, see a yabs attached:

    Unfortunately not

Thank you for reaching out and manually activating these benefits on both my nodes.
