I have that exact model lol and some others like it. They work well.
Ah darn.. makes sense.. What was the core tech for getting access to the forum? Capybara?
I have one, and it is awesome.
awesome. I am going to keep a look out for one like it now next time i am at a store. I have a manual one and i feel like its rubbish. Maybe its losing its sharpness and just struggling the cut the cover now
oh man, i just feel so out of the loop now..
I've been using stuff like this but from bargain bin stores. This particular model was on aliexpress but mine might as well have been..
nvm.. chatgpt is awesome. I should've thought about that first
Anyone hear back about sweaters yet? BRRRR its cold outside (like legit snow in texas who would've thought XD)
wow snow in texas?... doesnt that cause things to shutdown?
pretty much xD
fun.. No word on the sweaters yet but i think @ralf is first in line. If he doesnt survive the night i suppose we can nominate you for the next one
Would love to have one. Infact been looking for a stripping and joiner tool for ethernet
How much does this one cost?
This seems like the right tool for the job! Does this brand sell in india? Im sure the deisgn is all over the globe by now though if not!
looks like $21 USD for this particular one. I think this is a name brand one too
Oops sorry @noob404 , $21 USD is a Klien tool version which is most definitly a name brand version!
page 819
Amazing!
Is it expensive?
welcome to page 819 Codelock! Good to have you back!
Indeed! Looks like it makes the task uber easy.. Now i just need to buy one without getting in trouble or.. perhaps Racknerd can give away electronics kits for the easter give away
Yes and no, compared to other tools in the USA its pretty reasonably priced I think. I typically think an unpowered hand tool (no electric components) typically runs up to maybe ~$20 a tool. It is probably a very high margin product I would think though..
The irony of another part of the country reeling under wildfires
Yah we might have knockoffs here. Might have to check. Been planning to do a security cam setup at home. Looking for PoE cameras. This tool would be handy to have around if time permits and I decide to do the setup myself
Oh ok. Whats the brand?
What's the good brand called?
I guess it depends on your country. But nevertheless if it's something you end up using a lot, then it's worth it
Anybody else notice a slight slowdown in LET overall?
Indeed, the world is full of such ironic scenarios!
POE cameras sounds like a good idea! I would like that as well but i dont know how i would ever find time to do such a thing! I would say this tool would've already saved me lots of time from even the little wire stripping i did today!
I remember reading of the butterfly effect a few years ago. The recent times, I have seen too much stuff happening IRL that proves the effect is real.
