alexhostalexhost Member, Patron Provider

Hello, this topic has been created for discussions, opinions, news about our services, products and news of Alexhost from all services.

Everyone is welcome to make constructive criticisms about a product, service or even recommendations. We see this thread as an opportunity to give news, updates and discuss Alexhost.

By the way, we'd like to take this opportunity to share our goals for 2024!

Soon we'll have news that some of you have been asking for a long time!

Expanding Our Global Presence

We confidently stepped into new markets, launching innovative projects and strengthening our global infrastructure:

  • The launch of new locations in Sweden, Bulgaria, and Switzerland, now offering our services there.
  • KIVIX — a new Internet Exchange, marking a significant step in enhancing traffic exchange.

Enhancing Infrastructure

The year 2024 was pivotal for our technical foundation:

  • VPS upgrades in the Netherlands: boosting speed from 100Mbps to 1Gbps, ensuring faster load times and greater stability.
  • Increasing network capacity: +10Gbps from Cogent and +20Gbps from RETN.

We introduced a variety of innovative solutions for our clients:

  • RIPE K-Root Server — a key milestone in ensuring DNS reliability and resilience.
  • Modern Ryzen VPS — delivering high performance and reliability for your projects.
  • Advanced BGP Services — professional tools for route and network management.

Simplifying Transactions

  • To enhance client convenience, we implemented a new payment gateway — MAIB/GPay, making transactions even easier and faster.
    *Unlocking New Opportunities

The year 2024 also stood out for:
* Introducing new dedicated server configurations tailored to better meet our users’ needs.
* Revamping service pages for a more user-friendly and intuitive experience.
* Participating in the Moldexpo 2024 exhibition, where we shared our expertise and vision for the industry’s future.

If you have a service with us, you can leave your opinion. We promise to improve as much as possible. And of course we're willing to listen to constructive criticism, whether it's about the network, VPS or Dedicated Servers. We appreciate it if you're happy and if you'd like to leave your opinion, it's always welcome.

All relevant and/or important news will be posted here.

Thank you for being with us! We truly value your trust and are proud to have you as part of our journey toward innovation and excellence.

4 eur 100mbps Netherlands - very very bad

    not worth
    i will not buy

    $3/yr pls

  • Moldexpo? Well, I have attended few mold expositions in 2001 I believe.

  • Oversell your storage, we don’t mind

  • Why so expensive?

2core 4gb ram 60 eur yearly (5 eur per month) with protection against DMCA claims + Anti DDoS by Voxility is not that much. Plus, you can pay in crypto and there isn't any sort of KYC (which in my opinion privacy is way more valuable than anything else).

Anyway for OP my only critics and suggestions are:

    • bring 1GBPS to Moldova location too
    • make ryzen servers cheaper (prices are not competitive, for highend VPS there are better alternatives)
    • dedicated servers are a bit too pricey too

Also, since you added Safeline WAF to your website, it triggers too many false positives, rate limit is too aggressive for a normal browsing session.

No one plays with my $7 budget

  • I haven't use any of your services (yet) and this is the first time I visit the site.. I feel overwhelm by the sheer number of products, I think its.. messy.

100Mbps is limited but the network seems stable that I can constantly max out the bandwidth (tested by lg), I think it's good enough for most use cases. 1Gbps offer doesn't seem to improve anything connecting from Singapore, I still got around 100Mbps speed. That said, if you can offer 100Mbps package at a much lower price, I will definitely go for that.

Oh and I don't mind having a storage server on that stable (unlimited) 100Mbps network too.

Protection against DMCA claims dont them penny. So this can't proper excuse if someone say expensive. They ignore DMCA because DMCA Isn't applicable on there land. They still take seriously any copyright infringement if send accordingly land of law.

    AlexHost

    We’ve been quietly building something.

A new chapter for AlexHost is just around the corner, and honestly, we can’t wait to share it with you.

We’re not revealing everything just yet...

But if you take a close look at the image, you might notice something important:

    • We’ve hidden part of a special 50% promo code.
    • This code was created to celebrate the opening of our upcoming new location.
    • Those who find it early will get exclusive access to a limited-time offer.

Want to be one of the first to uncover it?
    Visit our website:
    https://alexhost.com

    Important:

    • The second part of the code will be revealed with the official announcement.
    • Only a few will manage to grab the full offer in time.

    Stay sharp. Opportunities are limited.

If business requires, the rate limiting rules in SafeLine WAF can be adjusted to be less strict.

AlexHost Data Center Connectivity Upgrade: 20 → 200 Gbps

💡 We’ve just made a huge step forward / our core network speed jumped from 20 Gbps to 200 Gbps, thanks to a new Tier 1 connection with Cogent Communications.

It’s not just a number it’s real performance you’ll feel.
Traffic now flows up to 10× faster, routing across Europe is more stable, and latency is lower than ever This upgrade is especially important for AI workloads, streaming, VPN, gaming, and enterprise operations ensuring high stability and speed even during peak traffic hours. A faster network means more than convenience it’s better SEO, lower bounce rates, smoother real-time apps, and reliable uptime 24/7.

More information is in our blog

Or how’s this relevant to us? :P
