This is true.. everything has a cost
Before this course, i've never used it, but this course has been going for a few weeks now.
Thats probably more than i send in a couple months on average.. Phone calls is where its at!
It was me. I installed alpine on my vps
I am a beta tester
You are actually speaking with LET right now. Not the website.. but THE LET. The concept, it exists within my mind as a living being of electricity
Back in my day you paid for minutes and SMS individually, and you were happy about it.
Whats the coolest thing you've done in the course so far? I wrongfully assumed the course just started
Ah thats who it was! Things become a blur here after some time
I was around in that era..
I just forgot it existed. The best thing you could get on your phone was snake and a browser that pretended to be useful!
I have a real question - would I find a page where all 30 posts would be done by you? I am pretty sure I have scrolled through some that contained at least 25...
Nah, I'm sure the count is that low because I primarily use Signal for messaging, but either way it's way less than trying to hit 10k in a month for fun.
Nokia 3310 ruled everything!
Or the Nokia 5165!
lol.. I think it might be possible.. Maybe back in the early 200s or 300s maybe? There was a period i was on fire, i couldnt ever do that again.. Maybe you can add that as a stat xD largest uninterrupted post streak per user (30 may not imply "single page"), or max number of posts on a single page per user?
uh. The 7-segment display. I didn't use any library and made my own!\
(random image from google)
Yes. A lot of chatting happens here
I started with 3310, then I think it was 5210, then 6... something, don't remember. Next I switched to N81, N900 (would really like to get something like that from Samsung now with android...) and then swotched to Android
ah that would make sense. I forgot whatsapp is really popular too in some palces
Didnt they recently remake it? I think now that we have seen new tech it would be tough to go "backwards" to this phone though. I always shop for the most basic phone however once i do get my hands on a new feature its hard to drop.. kinda dont know what you are missing til you try it
Its a shame nokia went out of business. I loved their Microsoft phones. HTC had some decent microsoft phones as well but never on par with nokia
The N900 was such an awesome device, running Maemo 5, a Debian based linux, no wonder I'm a Debian fan.
Awsesome! Looks like a fun project, nice job
Im thinking of buying something similar with a simple screen on it and a button to track if we fed a pet or not for the day
Too much for a simple mind such as mine to process osmetimes
I cant really tell the difference between them on from my memory. I just remember compact stocky phones that never broke but cant remember which ones i had
Nokia 3310

Nokia 5165

Nokia N81

Nokia N900

Should I use Plex or Jellyfin?
Plex is more convenient, honestly. The device support, and transcoding without having to do much configuration can't be beat. I really wanted to support Jellyfin but the headache was too much. Hopefully that changes in the near future.
I should try both
That's what I did. I tried Plex, Emby, and Jellyfin. Ended up sticking with Plex as it fit my use-case the best.
All those look really familiar but some is a blur as to what i had vs what family had
