What did your logs say last time? What did support say? Did it failover cleanly to whatever other less cheap server you use if it’s an important thing?
According to LET posts, they had a few outages.
Can't tell, since I didn't used the service with them, still got the 1$/m VPS though, but since its backhauled via Kansas City, no use for me, I let it expire.
Last time I only deployed a website and did nothing else.
Both servers were offline and at the same time, the other server did nothing, which should have nothing to do with my actions.
Oh,, support staff 。。。。。I can't open their official website right now 。。。。
Can you help me see if yours is also offline?
calling it now, deadpooled by their cyber Monday sale prices.
@ZachNuyek
Thanks for your order. Your downtime doubled successfully.
Do I need to start soliciting compensation packages online?
Ask @emgh about hin 'nam server.
what
It's down boi.
Do they really backhaul 100% of traffic through KC? that's insane lmao
Yes 10ms.
On the bright side, they put 10 of the 2cpu, 4GB promo VPSs back in stock.
This is true, and I've reacted to this with them, as overseas users have nothing good to say about Kansas City.
This might cost cheaper?I don't.
My concern is that if I deploy my business on it, the impact of such downtime would be significant.
Don't run business critical stuff on low end providers (especially if they are single-homed).
Maybe a rat chewed through the connection.
This is of no use to me at all if I can't deploy my business
Most of my business is still on OVH's servers at the moment, and while it's a bit more expensive, it's still relatively stable at the moment.
Deploying your business on bottom tier promo VPSes seems like you’ve decided how important your business is?
My server is in Canada hahaha
I don't think so, it's the service provider's problem not mine.
If the service provider promises online time then it can meet my needs, if not then it's a breach of contract.
I've seen a lot of problems with the big vendors as well, that's why I chose the way I did, and there are a lot of smaller vendors that have stayed stable for a long time aren't there?
Why should we blame ourselves for this problem?
It's back, I'm really sorry about that.

Yes, we do backhaul to KC but apart of the upcoming upgrades we're going to eliminate that but it was supposed to be done December but they keep pushing back our dark fiber install
Hey, man, I'm glad to see you. How are you gonna make it up to me this time?
This seems to be the lost connection a second time this month. If they don't lower the price, it's probably hard to buy
If he reset the hourly stock price incrementer back to $10 I'd buy another.
