    Actually simplelogin selfhosted, has all the premium features, works really good and can pgp encrypt everything that passes through

    Btw I use mail-in-a-box self hosted. Extremely easy to setup and all you need is a rDNS on your domain and they suggest a subdomain such as box.example.com. Greatest part is they include a dns server that automatically sets up your dns records. You just then need to setup your name server records such as ns1.box.example.com etc… they also have a built in system that you run which tells you ant problems you need to correct.     Yes Windows is listed in the title and also later in the post.
    However Windows does not perform as well as Linux but that has always been true.

    That is because of low GB score. This 4 vCores VPS not suitable for Windows.

    VPS with powerful 2x vCores can run Windows smoothly.

    My speed is super slow, about 28.3 MB/s and 39.9 MB/s. 🤣🤣🤣
    I use about 2% CPU and less than 1GB of my 8GBs memory, Ubuntu 24.

    Given these price points especially, the double RAM and bandwidth given is really generous. Just wondering how frequently you find mismatched locations or VPN triggers triggering fraud? Maxmind seems to be rigorous, yet occasionally may be a touch excessive.

    No, I'm not in the US, but the issue was resolved after I contacted support.

    Anyway, there's another issue – MySQL and the Drupal site are running really slow. It's about three times slower than, for example, a copy of the site with other hosts. Today, I also bought a 1CPU 1GB VPS from this host for testing: https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/4262858/#Comment_4262858
    And on that server, my site runs three times faster.
